We lived with a friend in an ordinary room of this guest house for one day.
I counted 3 rooms on each of the two floors. On both floors there is a sitting area in the hall, which is pleasant, but in the heat it’s impossible to be there.
Shared bathroom and shower. There were no other guests on our day, so we didn’t feel any discomfort.
There is nothing extra in the room - a bed, table and chairs. Minimalism.
Location - on the outskirts of the village, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the sharks, maybe a little more.
There was hot water.
The bed is excellent, comfortable.
The air conditioner is not a window type, split, quiet - this is a rarity. +1 point for the air conditioner.
For me, our number was a stretch of 3, but the price tag was appropriate. Overall a good economy option

Convenient location, 5 minutes from sharks. Friendly staff, lots of useful advice, trying to help with all problems and questions. Well, just pay attention that the bathroom and toilet are shared. Not a big problem, but hidden in the description. I recommend

The hotel is ideal just for a night or two when seeing the whale sharks. It’s basic, as reflected in the price. The rooms were clean, had aircon, shared bathroom with a hot shower. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Only 10 min walk to whale sharks Only issues were that there were mosquitoes in mine & my friends rooms and we both got bitten a lot in the night. Also wifi does not work in the rooms, you have to go on the landing for it to work and then it’s intermittent. Also could do with having extra pillows as just had one thin one. It’s an uphill walk from the whale sharks so you need some level of fitness. But you need a certain level of fitness to even be able to do the whale shark swim anyway
