Hotel Cardiff

No dialogue with the owner because she only speaks English and makes no effort to speak a little French and Dutch, room more or less clean, but the shower leaked from underneath the defective rubber. The surroundings of the hotel were super dirty, very disappointed for the price given I was really expecting something else!,,,,I wouldn't go there again

Great stay with perfect traditional afternoon tea, definitely worth booking! Scones were super fresh and homemade lemon curd was delicious. We will definitely come back in the summer now that we have found a cozy hotel in the center.

Good for a night. Old building. Well-kept rooms. Everything happens without real reception. People are there in the morning. Located really in the center. Plenty of parking spaces in the area. Thin walls. Still some noise from other rooms.

Scandalous, shameful €1061 for two nights for a room worth €150 per night, no air conditioning just a standing fan which indicated 29 degrees in the room!! We had taken a small terrace, this one was not even finished, the step was missing to access it… the room was clean as well as the bathroom but nothing justifies such a price, a real steal!!!! More than basic lunch, soft little bread, we don't know if it's due to humidity or something else...plus lunch from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and at exactly 10:03 a.m. MR cleared the buffet while we were still there at lunch...or you stay in the average and affordable price category where you are playing in the big leagues given the price asked for my two nights and there everything is to be reviewed… in any case it will be without us I would never set foot there again, big big scam!!!

The hotel announced its exceptional closure the morning of our reservation. On arrival no reception, fortunately my phone worked and I received the access codes. But no bar, no restaurant, no staff, and a bag of sandwiches prepared in the morning for breakfast the next day...sickening result. Following a request for reimbursement of breakfasts, I was offered blackmail... delete my comment on *********** to obtain a reimbursement. In short, a hotel to ignore, given the vast choice offered in Ostend.

OK hotel the rooms are comfortable and very clean the only downside is the breakfast the coffee is good but the rolls are not good at all they are rolls to be reheated in the oven but I think they were not heated because they were so cold very friendly staff

Excellent communication in advance with the operators. Perfect explanation of the check-in procedure in the absence of operators. A bit old-fashioned, but still cozy room but super bathroom. Breakfast not overwhelming but more than sufficient. Very friendly owners. You would go back just for them. Very pleasant experience.
