Leopold Hotel Ostend ★★★★
"Great location. Friendly staff. Smooth check-in & check-out. Parking is a bit tricky as the hotel has an underground car park nearby with only 8 parking spaces. Breakfast is great."
C-Hotels Andromeda ★★★★
Hotel Ambassadeur ★★★
"First time in Ostend, I wanted to book a hotel near the beach and shopping areas. However, if you book here, expect no parking and to have to park quite far from the hotel, as the nearby parking lots are often crowded. When we arrived, the receptionist was rude. We had booked for 2pm, but when we arrived tired from the journey with our luggage, we were told that the room was not ready. We wanted to leave our luggage in the luggage room to enjoy the nice weather, but it is accessible to everyone, which made it impossible to leave our belongings safely. So we had to wait in front of the room without doing anything. Forty minutes later, we returned to the reception, and the receptionist finally told us that the room was ready. When we entered, we found the bed unmade, the sheets worn, hairs in the bed, wet and worn towels, sand on the floor, and many other unpleasant things. It was a real DISASTER!!, I have never seen anything like it in my life! Annoyed, we asked the receptionist for an explanation, who told us that the room would not be ready until 3:30 p.m. However, at 3:30 p.m., no cleaning lady had yet come! We wasted our entire afternoon because of this. I strongly advise against this hotel. If you are looking to stay in filth, then go there, but otherwise, move on. I wonder how this establishment was able to obtain three stars. It is money thrown out the window. In addition, the receptionist was uncooperative and unpleasant, even unfriendly. It would be wise to think about changing the staff at this level. The cleaning lady was the only pleasant and smiling person in this hotel, courageously alone to manage the seven floors. This was my first reservation on Booking, and I trusted the site after seeing the comments. I will not do it again and I will not book on this site again. Very disappointed, I should have looked for reviews on other sites. Apparently, many customers have had the same experience as me. I do not recommend this site if you want constructive opinions."
Upstairs Hotel ★★★
"It was very good"
Hotel Albert II Oostende ★★
"Whist the hotel is beautifully located for the town and CHristmas markets, when we went there where some issues. There is a small lift to gain access or some very steep, unlit stairs, dragging your case up them was a life and death moment. We where checked in and given a room key (room 124) the room was 'small' but functional. The bed clean. Our main issue was the temperature. The room was really really cold. We tried to turn up the radiator but to no avail. We stayed at this hotel as part of a Christmas market package so arrived with approx.50 other guests who all complained about the lack of heating. some where given extra duvets, some electric heaters, we had nothing. The website for the hotel says there is a warm welcoming bar area,,,,,,this was not in operation when we went. Breakfast was advertised as continental, which it was, coffee/tea, orange juice, yogurts, pastries (mainy fresh) toast and scrambled egg and bacon. Sadly the warm food wasnt warm and the room in which we ate was also freezing , you needed to wear your coat while you ate. This is a budget hotel, we didnt expect the savoy, but the lack of heating made it really quite uncomfortable. Would we stay again? no, never. Its a shame as the building is actually one of the historic buildings in the town and potentially really grand and beautiful, but without heating , when its -3 outside and not much warmer inside, its not somewhere id like to go again. "
Hotel Bero ★★★★
"Dismal welcome, unpleasant as possible, not a smile, we really had the impression of disturbing the receptionist with the goatee. While there is not a dog in the hotel... which is understandable... given everything. Because unfortunately everything needs to be reviewed, we are completely incomprehensible that this hotel can have a 4* The rooms are not at all up to date, the bedding is not comfortable, the windows are in a state of filth catastrophic…. The water in the pool is super cold, impossible for our two children (2 and 4 years old) to be able to swim in it… even for us, we stayed there for 5 minutes… Breakfast: industrial orange juice, ridiculously small chocolate rolls and croissants… Move on!! 230€ per night, we will remember it for a long time…"
Hotel Pacific ★★★
"As always excellently extensive breakfast top location"
Hotel Du Parc ★★★★
"A beautiful hotel, renovated with an eye for the building's Art Deco details. We received a room upgrade, which we were very happy with! The room is gorgeous, and the bathroom is also lovely. Breakfast is delicious, with lots of fruit. The location is perfect, right by the sea."
Hotel Mercure Oostende ★★★★
"Everything is ok. The only minor drawback is that breakfast is in a room without windows."

"Good location, big hotel, good"
Hotel Prado
"Had to book this one at 1am as got stuck in Oostende, charged 147 Euros with breakfast. No real complaints although I think the price was a bit naughty, when they wouldn't have sold that room otherwise. Average experience all round and definitely not worth 147 Euros"
Hotel Monarc
"Don't understand the positive reviews about this hotel. The building is falling apart dangerous cracked part of wall next to entry stairs, no stair rail very steep stair case, passage lights only one of 3 working, block bathroom basin for whole 4 nights stay, broken bedlamps and was bitten by insect in the room. First morning breakfast was fabulous, hotel fully booked, but after that it appears the left overs were cut into bite size pieces after the most guests checked out. 2nd morning tea kettle boiling water cold. Seems the hotel is struggling on a very tight budget and trying to save by not doing repairs cutting back on the very expensive €25 breakfast and electicity by not boiling the kettle and keeping it warm and not lighting all the lights in the passage to the rooms Price advertised for 4 nights £398 including fees and taxes but when booked actually £10.05 more which they tried to justify with taxes and fees which the ad said was already in. Location is almost on the beach but more than a mile away from the CBD. Terrible hotel, best avoid!"
Hotel & Wellness Royal Astrid
"Good surroundings, close to the beach, there are supermarkets and restaurants around"
Hotel De Hofkamers
"We loved our stay here! Really friendly, great value, superb breakfast, brilliant location. What not to like! We are sooooooo glad we found this gem of a place. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Ostend that won’t break the bank don’t look anywhere else. Thank you."
Ostend Hotel
"A pleasant enough place, great location and good facilities for groups but the decor of the rooms is straight from the 1980s. Each floor is colour coded in a garish palette such as flaming orange, Baby-Vomit Green or Barbie Pink etc.. and the lighting in our room could be set only to "interrogation" level, (where two spotlights shine at you as you lay in bed) or 1980s nostalgia mode, where you admire an uncovered ancient fluorescent light, beneath the mirror - 240V bayonet fittings easily accessible to the tiny fingers of any small and curious children that you don't value much. Car parking spaces are secured against unauthorised access by a chunking great padlock and a heath-robinson hinged steel contraption. Both of the possible EV charging spaces I had requested (and been assured in return) as reserved for my use were instead blocked by conventional non EV cars. The receptionist refused to contact either of the named drivers mentioned on the parking slips displayed in the windscreens, and instead suggested I drive into the central parking facility and charge there instead! - I wish that it was possible to educate such people about EV charge points having large non charging activity penalties, or why EV charge point parking spaces should not be issued to non EV cars - but I do not think the Hotel staff have any real interest or understanding of the consequences for guests in front of them being somehow forced to waste a large part of the following day to compensate for the staff members' choices. My simple advice if you are considering staying here - and particularly if you drive an EV - is that you should choose a different Hotel."
Alpha Hotel
"Great hotel in Oostende for a small budget. Good location, close to bars and restaurants. Easy to find and good service. Rooms are not big if you travel with big suitcases, but manageble. Just a few steps and you'll be at the beach to enjoy the Belgian coast."
Hotel Cardiff
"The price is a little expensive for what you get.Good location and easy to check in and out yourself. You get the necessary information via whatsapp and also direct response to questions. We had room with terrace and these are spacious. No safe and no air-conditioning but 2 ventilators are present. Bad room spacious and separate toilet, towels are very thin. Breakfast is good but only from 8.30 you to 10 you so it is pressure."
