The hotel was very spacious, with the floors and walls of the corridors decorated with beautiful stones, and many vases and paintings on display, giving it a luxurious impression. We enjoyed the banquet meals in the large hall, the large public bath, the game corner, the snacks, and the 17 ice cream vending machine, all typical of a Japanese Showa retro tourist hotel. The female staff in the restaurant were energetic and kind. The only disappointments were the horrible dirtiness of the air conditioner in the room and the female check-in staff member who was in a bad mood. She stood out because all the other staff were smiling.

西館508。昭和そのもの。部屋案内のおばさんは兄が高齢母手を取りゆっくり歩きなのに後ろも見ず数メートル先歩く。ドア内開きで2人同時に入れず。ベランダ手摺錆びて汚い蜘蛛の巣有り。洗面にコップ無マットレス無敷布団1枚。押入れから出して重ねた。家の方が寝心地良。トイレの洗面水マックスで鉛筆程。比叡の湯良。食事良枕良し。 夜隣声少し聞こえる。数年前に泊まった京近江との差があり過ぎましたが母は喜んで良し。
