Kyo Omi

The location is not a problem as there is a shuttle bus from Ogoto Onsen Station. Because it is right next to Lake Biwa, you can enjoy the view from the open-air bath in the room. Especially in the morning with the sunrise

Every corner was clean and there was a sense of cleanliness. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room with a chair, and my elderly mother was happy to eat there. I was full with delicious food. There are two hot springs for men and two women's baths in the large public bath, so I was satisfied.

露天風呂付の広い和室で掘り炬燵のある別室もありました。 琵琶湖に面していて眺めはよかったです。 部屋付き露天風呂の線質はよかった気がします。トロトロしてました。 ただ目隠しとなる物がなくて眺めがいい反面外からも見られるのではと不安がありました。 が、アメニティや設備が古臭いし細かな段差が部屋にありました。 案内はとても簡単でした。 夕飯の食事はまずまず美味しかったですが朝食はバイキングでグランドホテルと共通で混み合っていて落ち着きなかったです。 売店がローソンと一体化していたのは便利でした。 総じて高級旅館とは言い難かったです。 同じ値段を出すなら次回は別の所にしたいです。

The room is a corner room with an open-air bath and an indoor bath, and a small Hori Kotatsu room with a TV. Meals are served in a private room and are kaiseki cuisine, but although they say they are explaining the food, there is no explanation of the ingredients, such as aperitifs, accompaniments, tableware, etc., and I was told to look at the menu for the contents. That's all for luxury, and breakfast is a buffet. Just like the guests of Biwako Grand Hotel, there is a large room with tables that can seat 4 to 6 people. Eating as a family is not possible. Desperate to share a seat. The food is also the same. The dishes are arranged in a U-shape. It's also difficult to gather ingredients. The food is also comparable to that of a business hotel. I would like to at least share my time with a group. There was no seeing off after check out. I was able to stay cheaply thanks to the support.

I decided to spend New Year's Eve slowly with my family, so I decided to take care of Mr. Kyo-Omi. A shuttle bus is operated by Piston from Ototo Onsen Station, which is 20 minutes from Kyoto. The room is a 15 tatami room with an open-air bath on the 4th floor of Kyo-Omi + the next room. We stayed with 6 adults. The day was New Year's Eve, and it was almost full, but the large public bath was large and not crowded, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. Mr. Nakai's response was humorous and flawless, the food was voluminous, and the Omi beef shabu-shabu was very delicious. It was great to see the snowy Lake Biwa from the open-air bath in the room. I was able to see Izuru-sama from the shore of Lake Biwa on the first sunrise of the year, and I was able to welcome the new year. I would love to visit again.
