Andaz Ottawa Byward Market Reviews

We stayed one night right in the heart of the Byword Market in Ottawa and really loved it. My only complaint is the cost of parking- $35/night. A little steep. But it seems parking in Ottawa is costly. Other than that, I really enjoyed how great the room was. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is very good in the city center. The room is new and the view is good. The downside is that the elevator is very slow and you need to queue. The sink in the bathroom splashes easily. After washing your face, the floor is full of water. The front desk staff seems to be a bit picky. Seeing that we are Asians, they did not introduce the hotel breakfast time and parking fee standards. I had to ask myself. The attitude was a bit awkward.

Facilities: The overall facilities are pretty good There are gyms and meeting rooms. The scenery is okay, but the restaurant upstairs is not recommended. The overall service is okay, but the wake-up service is sometimes not on time

I was given a corner room with a nice view. The hotel is in a very good location. It is next to Rideau Center and Byward Market. There are also bus stations and light rail stations nearby. However, it is not recommended to go out at night. It is best to go out in groups.

The surrounding construction work started making noise in the morning! No slippers are said to have been used up! There was a bottle of water in the room on the first day, but not on the second day. Even if I called to ask for it, no one brought it! The bath towel feels like it can’t be washed even after being used for too long!

The location is very good, but it’s too noisy at night. Foreigners are still dancing and singing in the middle of the night.
