The hotel is very dated and maintenance is an issue. Rooms very small, can't use the restaurant unless you are booking for min. 10 persons, breakfast very average for a 4 star. Windows with gaps therefore loud noise from road in our garden rooms, located right next to road. Water in shower cold in both our rooms.

Clean, lovely room and bathroom. Nothing that we missed. Unfortunately we had to skip breakfast and received a takeaway. Not too bad but packaging could improve. Stayed on ground floor, noisy guests above and around us kept us up all night, loud when walking and using bathroom, slamming doors since 3am. Will probably not return although location is perfect, close to stadion.

Un hôtel très bien situé. Un personnel très accueillant. Des chambres propres mais besoin d'un petit coup de ravalement. Un parking gratuit sécurisé. A proximité des restaurants et des magasins. Le seul bémol est l'eau de la piscine un peu trop blanchâtre... Le petit dej est top.

I wish to visit again as a family Next year. Your staff was on point. Food was the best, breakfast delicious. I will advise my friends to do bookings with you again next year January and December 2024. Your Reception lady was also nyc to me and my sister. I was referred by Captain Patrick Mpela from SAPS Potchefstroom.

The Bathroom was filthy with hair and toenail clippings still on the floor around the shower when we entered the room. The carpet on the stairs could do with a proper vacuum as well. Other than that the service was great.

Stopped at the Turnberry as a stopover point on our trip back to Cape Town. The room was clean and tidy but like the rest of the hotel was showing its age a bit. Disappointed that we couldn’t get an evening meal in house as we weren’t confident of walking in town in the dark. Also surprised to be charged extra for a Cappuccino at breakfast time and the “barista” needs some more training as to how to actually make coffee. Otherwise, our stay was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly, polite staff. Anna, excelled in the breakfast on the first morning. Due to electricity problems the second morning did not go off too well. It is recommended that staff be told to use initiative, eg. knock on doors and tell visitors that it is not loadshedding but an electricity problem. Ask if there is anything they could assist with. Only much later we were assisted to use another area where there was electricity to finalise everything and then to book out. On world wide special occasions, leniancy should be made to accommodate visitors with TV packages. Sports could not be tuned into. For the rest, our stay was pleasant, walking distance to shops, banks and more.

Staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. I got supper the first night due a group being in the hotel. 2nd and 3rd nights I ate out which was fine. Got to experience 2 restaurants in the area. A bit creepy walking on my own at night but it was ok. Noisy school children next door could be a problem for some people. TV wasn't; working from Day 2. I also didn't get the iron I requested. I used the hair dryer. Other than that I was happy.

We had a wonderful stay at Turnberry . The service and hospitality was amazing and the breakfast exceptional. The hotel is professionally operated and maintained and is centrally located in Oudtshoorn.
