Absolut einzigartiger Ort! Unglaublich nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber - ob es um Ausflugstipps oder Restaurantreservierungen geht. Leckeres Frühstück. Super Service. Sauberes Zimmer. Absolut vergleichbar mit 5-Sterne-Hotels aber ohne die kühle Anonymität. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We were pleasantly surprised to find that our last minute booking in Oudtshoorn was one of our best stays during our Christmas trip. The hosts were exceptional in their professionalism and personal attention to us. They were very knowledgeable about the areas “must do’s” and eating establishments and even took the time to book some of these on our behalf. Breakfast was a relaxing affair with something for everyone and both a hot and cold breakfast available with the calm sounds of the birds and gentle music in the background. The accommodation is comfortable with the air conditioning being a welcome addition to each room. The owners are gracious and their welcoming demeanor added volumes to the richness of our experience of Oudtshoorn. Thank you for a memorable stay!

A great stay - from beginning to end. We were made very welcome by Magda and Christo and shown to a very clean, smart and well equipped room with a stoepe. There is a good swimming pool area with sunloungers. The breakfasts were first class. The hosts and all their staff are very friendly and helpful and booked restaurants for us. The hotel is easy to find, has safe parking and is central for visiting the historical houses and is between 2 excellent restaurants. Ideal stay in Oudsthoorn.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, zentral gelegen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber waren stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Das Scheunenzimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber ausreichend. Direkt am sehr sauberen Pool gelegen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Absolut zu empfehlen.

We were really well accommodated with lots of love and detail in everything. The room was well equipped, tidy and neat. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and freshly made eggs, sausages etc. I would definitely book the guesthouse again!

We had a great stay here. Lovely welcoming hosts Martha and Christo showed us the rooms and gave us nice tips about things to do in the area. Nice beds. Ended up having a great diner at their neighbouring restaurant Nostalgie. Martha and Christo also made us a lovely breakfast (ostrich sausage a recommendation). Sad that we only chose a one night stay, so much to do in the region, but we might come back!
