Charl looked after us very well. The Guest House has a great position for restaurants and is very good value for money

Room was OK. It needs serious repairs and maintenance. It is evident that the bathroom recently flooded. Cupboard in bathroom expanded from water and smell a bit mould. Shower is leaking. Friendly owner and the reception was very welcoming.

Yamkela was perfect for our stay with an early start, and the staff made arrangements to accommodate us which we had not expected. We had everything we needed, even great recommendations for restaurants in the area. We would most definitely stay at Yamkela again!

Excellent accommodation, great service, clean, safe and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay everyone had a lovely time, the accommodation was spacious, well serviced and clean. It's a pretty location and you feel like you at home

Enjoyed our short. Would recommend for 1-2 nights stay. Safe location as well. Check-in was very quick not too many unnecessary paper work. Enjoyed the aircon in the room with the heating blanket so helpful for the winter. Thank You Charl

I had a wonderful couple of days at Yamkela. The room was most comfortable, and quiet. This guesthouse is well maintained, clean, gardens are manicured and breakfasts are excellent. I am looking forward to my return visit. Highly recommended, value for money, and outstanding quality.

Charl is an excellent host. Always stay here when visiting Oudtshoorn. Great breakfast. Room is clean and comfortable.

Very nice overnight stay.Staff and the owner was very nice and friendly.Rooms were also very nice,aircon,bathroom.Breakfast in the morning was also very nice.The pool was clean for swimming. I will definitely go back for another stay at this accommodation.
