從倫敦機場直接自駕到酒店，酒店就在居民區，外觀就是 submit-detach 的一個 house，到達的時候院子 doorway 有一大車的裝修垃圾，顯得有點凌亂。進到房間還是非常整潔，應該剛剛翻新過，顯得比較新和乾淨。房子當然是有一定歷史的老房子，暖氣和插座都有點歷史了，插座都安排在房子的靠地腳線的地方，充電就比較尷尬了，現在大家這麼多電子設備，還是建議店家多搞點充電插座。我們定的是家庭房，房間足夠大，在地面層，有個落地窗可以通向後面的院子，夏天時候應該還有會有個小的內院，有桌子可以休閑，但我們到的是冬天，院子也沒有佈置起來。早餐安排在陽光房裡的小餐廳，食品比較豐富，環境温馨，可以和其他旅客交流，經理和服務員也很熱情，能盡力幫助住客。交通還算不錯，我們基本就是走路到中心區，大概需要 20 到 25 分鐘，好處就是不用找地方停車，沿途還可以看看兩邊的小學院。周邊吃的不多，但走路 15 分鐘左右有個小酒吧，居然米其林 1 星，有點小貴，但味道很不錯，餐廳氛圍也很好，學校裏面的學生在討論創業計劃，很有大學氛圍。酒店前面路邊就可以停車，停車方便，經理讓我們停到酒店的小停車場，很有到家的感覺。小酒店比較自由温馨，晚上憑密碼進出。總的還是比較滿意。後面兩張就是小酒吧，最後一張是黃昏路上的紫霞。

很愛的一家酒店，小巧精緻，是老房子改建的，但住着很舒服。房間面積超預料的大，設施齊備。一層的陽光房是餐廳，看着園中景色吃飯很享受！推薦！

很滿意，我們晚到了，通過電話聯繫，獲得了房間號和鑰匙。1888年開業的賓館依然保持優美和乾淨。離牛津鎮有20-30分鐘走路距離，不過路上路過一條小河，沿河走走很舒服。

房間外面的花園景色不錯.不過硬件設施真心覺得尷尬.訂的雙人床.一動床就嘎子嘎子的響.洗臉盆堵的水都下不去的.洗澡的浴缸是有的.但是也是下水慢。也是服了.早餐就是標準的英式早餐.麪包.炒蛋.焗豆.方便麪.一些水果.不過可以自己買三明治早上讓加熱一下。
