"The hotel is on a bus route do is easy to get to from the train station and the centre of Oxford. The rooms are very small but you have all you need, a clean bed, a very comfortable mattress, WiFi, TV and bath towels. The got water to our shower was extremely hot and we couldn't make it cooler, but the receptionist will look into that. The room was very clean apart from where one of the beds touches the wall, there is a lot of dust on the floor under there. But the bathroom was very clean."

"It is comfortable and quiet. It's quite near the town centre and the university, there's a college right next to it. But it is far from the railway station, it took us 27mins walk to/from the railway station. Travel light if you choose here. But  not to be too worry, lots of people pulling their luggages going about to reach their hotels or railway station, and the road/street pavement is even and the terrain is flat. Otherwise, there are buses that passes it  along the main Street, just may have on google to let you know where to drop off. The room is spacious, and comfortable.  "

"Brilliant stay, room upgraded and breakfast was included which I didn’t realise.  Helpful staff, lovely clean hotel.  Bus stop 5 minutes walk away, buses are regular to the city centre (approx 15 minutes away)."

"My partner and I had a lovely stay at The George. Lovely dinner - good range on the menu including lots of alcohol free drink options. The bed was really comfortable and it was a lovely cozy room with great amenities. Lovely location - Dorchester is beautiful! We loved the community farm just up the road with a lovely cafe and alpacas among others. Lovely countryside surrounding Dorchester and lovely cycle route to Oxford on the NCR5. Thanks George Hotel for a lovely stay!"

"This hotel completely exceeded my expectations and was the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my trip to the UK. Although it's not in the city center, it's incredibly convenient – just a 10-minute bus ride on the number 6 from downtown directly to the hotel. It's a large resort, perfect for those traveling by car. The hotel itself is beautiful, allowing us to experience the scenic British countryside while exploring Oxford."

"The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic!!! The staff were so polite and helpful, the room was wonderful and the meal in the restaurant was amazing. The prison hotel has a feeling of class and luxury and then a beautiful contradiction that it used to be the home of naughty prisoners - we have nothing negative to say just going home with fond memories and some wonderful pictures!!!!"

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The room was very bright and spacious, with modern and well-maintained facilities. It was honestly the quietest hotel I’ve stayed in recently, which made it perfect for a good rest. The location is also excellent — very close to the city centre, and there is a bus stop right next to the hotel, making it extremely convenient to get around. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was especially comfortable, with great water pressure and temperature. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"Plenty of parking available, but if there's a home game for Oxford United in the evening, parking can be a hassle since the stadium is right next door. Breakfast includes homemade waffles and all the usual options, primarily a full English breakfast, and the coffee is excellent. The room feels cramped with a sofa bed. It's about a 15-minute drive to Oxford University or the shopping center, and Bicester Village is around 30 minutes away."

"Love the supermarket right next to the hotel and there is public bus outside the hotel to go to city center. Typical English breakfast and the food choice is the same every day. There is a retail park opposite the hotel but only have 4-5 shops like Decathlon, Sport Direct & B&Q etc."

"The hotel is close to the city center and Oxford campus, a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is clean and provides storage services. Room cleaning and towel replacement require registration at the front desk, which is different from domestic practices."
