"I recently stayed at this budget-friendly hotel in Oxford and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was very clean, including the ensuite bathroom, which was well maintained. The staff were polite and friendly, which made the stay more comfortable. The hotel is located about a 45-minute walk from the main city centre, but the route is straight and not hilly, so it’s manageable. The location itself was fine, with good bus connectivity making it easy to get around. There are several supermarkets nearby, including Tesco and Sainsbury’s superstores, as well as a few cafes and restaurants in the area. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or food service, but there is a vending machine offering coffee and some light snacks. Overall, it’s a good option for a clean, affordable stay in Oxford, especially if you don’t mind being a bit outside the city centre."

"My first night was marred by the fact that the people next door had very loud voices, this was there normal speaking voice but sadly the walls are very thin, too thin to be acceptable. I had to wear eye plugs and only fell asleep because I was exhausted. Also outside my room is numerous units which made a noise. The sound of someone using the shower was annoying too. Though things looked okay in room and the bed was comfortable these other things spoiled my much needed break. The first thing I told the receptionist on arrival was I do not require anyone to tidy my room. When I got back from my meeting on the next day my room had been cleaned, bed made etc. The feedback card that I had not finished filling in was removed from my room. Most annoying.  So being close to Oxford station and having a Sainsbury’s next door were the best things about this hotel."

"The location is good, not too far but still need to take bus. For driving, it still charge 4.5GBP per 24 hrs. There is no catering facilities. No air conditioner, if people afraid of hot temperatures, probably not great. IHG next to it might be better choice. Otherwise, walk to opposite where Starbucks, waitress and gregg are available for light meals."

"Self-check-in, convenient and fast, the disadvantage is that it is a bit far from the city center. Health convenience must be strengthened, because the pillows that night were amazing, the air conditioning air outlet had a running sound, and it continued for a while, very noisy"

"The hotel is very quiet, and there's a bus stop conveniently located nearby that goes straight to the town center. The room size was satisfactory, and the bed was large and comfortable. The amenities provided were also quite complete. Overall, it was a very good stay."

"No hairdryer, toothbrush, or toothpaste was available, and many other disposable amenities were missing. The room was on the smaller side, but the location was decent. Overall, it was an acceptable stay. They did provide tea, coffee, and an electric kettle."

"Overall, it's pretty good for a service area hotel. They have a breakfast buffet, and there are other restaurants to choose from as well. It's a two-story building with fire doors everywhere, which tend to be noisy when opened and closed."

"The bus takes 25 minutes to the center of Oxford. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Oxford, near the ordinary residential area. It is very safe and convenient. There is Subway across the road and three bus stops within 200 meters. The hotel is very old, and a small piece of the wall paint in the toilet of the room I stayed in fell off. However, the sanitation is good, no insects or obviously unclean places were found, the spider webs were also cleaned, and the bathtub and shower were working properly. It is very suitable for one or two people to travel. In the peak tourist season, the hotel of 900 RMB is one of the few affordable options for overnight stay in Oxford."

"Very nice hotel and friendly staff. The family room size was good with complimentary drinks available in the fridge.  Location was quite close to the town. Free parking was available.  Will book again when visiting Oxford next time."
