A' Queenslin Guesthouse

We had an amazing experience staying at A'Queenslin Guesthouse. Everyone looked after us so well and made sure our stay was special. It was a holiday with my partner and son on our first trip to SA and we had the best time. The pool is amazing and we felt very comfortable

The guesthouse has a very difficult access to the rooms and a very complicated structure inside and is outdated. Therefore not value for money. Worse: we booked 3 doubles and one single but ended up using 2 doubles and 2 singles i.e. we overpaid by R550. But the owner plainly refused to reimburse the difference. Bad ethics.

Excellent place! Easy to find, hospitable host, great accommodation. The host even had champagne and chocolates ready for us when we arrived for my daughter’s birthday. He was very insightful to the area, safety and restaurants. We felt extremely safe. The pictures do not represent the quaint environment. Great place to stay. Highly recommend

The stay was wonderful. My family was Visting from Caribbean and USA. Truly home away from home. They oved the layout of this house and rooms. Very modern. They had great time. The location is beautiful. All amenities you possibly need it has. Prime location near shopping/ commercial areas.

The tranquility of the establishment is stunning. The pool was a delightful surprise. Wifi was good and room nice and spacious. The way the whole room and bathroom is laid out makes it unique.The little private patio was just perfect.Will definitely be going back again soon.

The room was great, clean and neat. It had all what is needed to have an comfortable stay. Only the breakfast was not one of the best. I missed fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses and the presenting of the cereals could be done more appetizing. The view is amazing and the welcome through the owner was very warm and open hearted. Parking is scarce but well managed.

Nice room with small balcony with nice vews. Comfortable bed. Fridge in the room. Wineglasses, plates and cutlery. Quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Good wifi. We will be back next time in South Africa.

Prior to our arrival, we received excellent and prompt communication from Rhys, the owner of A Queenslin Guesthouse. I always appreciate renting holiday accommodations from the owner, because they take so much more care than does a management company. Rhys and I were able to stay in close contact via WhatsApp before and during our stay and he was there to open the security gate and greet us upon arrival. He had room for us to park in the carport, which is inside a gated yard. I must say that I felt 100% safe in this area, so the secure parking was simply a perk. The guesthouse is located at the top of a mountain and offers spectacular views of the valley below. I was thrilled when Rhys offered to upgrade our room. The most surprising aspect of our stay was the beautifully landscaped gardens and pool area. The pool is much larger than the online photo would suggest. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, prepared by Louise. On our first day, we opted to spend several relaxing hours at poolside.
