Skinkikofi Guest House
"Besides that i had to spend all night awake killing about 2 dozens of mosquitos te room was OK"
Grande Roche Hotel
"We believe the Hotel has recently had new owners. The whole venue is starting to look a little tired and being one of the most expensive Hotels we have stayed in, in the area, this is not good enough. Issues: Air conditioning unit leaked soaking some of our clothes, this took two days to repair. Food in the dining room was very good with large portion sizes, too big for us, but service was haphazard as your meals were delivered in stages, you could have finished your meal before the side dish of fries arrived. The Pass in the kitchen needs to get sorted. On leaving we could not get a copy of our bill as the printer was broken and was promised that this would be emailed immediately, still waiting. As our departure was at 6am we were promised a breakfast box, never produced. Paving in the grounds is very uneven and could prove a serious hazard. Our room was priced at around $600 for a Hotel in that area and with the above issues."
Paarl Mountain Lodge
"Beautiful nice clean Lodge with a deck overlooking the beautiful the valley of Paarl and Mountain. An outstanding gratitude to Annette, very friendly and helpful. Thank you once again."
Lady Loch Country House
"We were warmly welcomed by Christoff and were assisted with care We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend Lady Loch to others "
Belmonte Guesthouse
"Antonella was a wonderful hostess and made us feel welcome and cared for. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. There is LOTS of packing space. The swimming pool was sparkling and blue. The property is gorgeous with the river that runs through it. We enjoyed a picnic along the river that was incredible. I am so happy that we got to visit this beautiful establishment. Zavick"
Laborie Estate
"Staying at Laborie was an amazing experience for us. We got a room upgrade and especially enjoyed the luxurious bathroom. The breakfast at the Stoep restaurant on the estate was the best breakfast we've had on our entire trip. Also the food and drinks in general were amazing. The surroundings and vineyards of the estate are so beautiful, we felt lucky to be here. The staff was friendly and helpful. In short, if you have the opportunity you should definitely book a stay at Laborie."
B&B Sauvignon Country Lodge
"Perfectly organised daytrips and very payable ! we slept very well - every morning a delicious breakfast outside in the garden. every evening a meal on the most special locations in the neighborhood. Wellington friendly people everywhere !"
Pontac Manor Hotel & Restaurant
"We visited Pontac Manor because we had heard about the good restaurant and we were not disappointed. Before having dinner, we asked for a tour of some of the rooms, which the receptionist agreed to . We were impressed by the quality of the furnishings and amenities in the rooms. We then sat on the terrace of the hotel and enjoyed the view over the gardens. A beautiful, tranquil haven. Service was excellent and the friendly waitress made us feel very welcome. We then went on to the restaurant where the ambience, service and food were all of superior quality. The pricing also represented good value for money. An excellent experience all around. highly recommended."
Lemoenkloof Boutique Hotel
"This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional post-payment experiences I’ve had with any hotel. In February 2026, I booked out this hotel for a bootcamp (total invoice exceeding ZAR300,000 or $20,000) and was invoiced for services that were not ultimately consumed. Due to the nature of managing a live event, I paid the invoice in full at the time. Once the discrepancy was identified, the hotel acknowledged the overcharge and confirmed that a refund of approximately ZAR 31,086 was due. Over 6–7 weeks later, that refund has still not been processed. What is more concerning is the complete lack of communication. For the past 3 weeks, my emails have been ignored and my calls are being actively declined. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this directly, including involving another hotel owner in the same town to intervene, with no success. At this point, this is no longer a delay; it is a failure in accountability and basic business practice. Holding on to a client’s funds while avoiding all communication is unacceptable. If you are considering this hotel, especially for group bookings or events, I would strongly advise you to proceed with extreme caution when it comes to billing accuracy and after-service support. I expect immediate action on this matter. I remain willing to resolve this amicably, but will escalate further if necessary and will update this review accordingly."

De Wingerd Wijnland Lodge
"We stay there for 4 nights. It was a good choice and we will come back as soon as possibleStefan the manager and the two women in the b&b are very helpful and give us good tips for the area. Breakfast is normally and good. It’s very quit to have a good sleep."
Diemersfontein Wine & Country Estate
"We booked a night here expecting, given the price and the website, a wonderful experience. We were very disappointed. The room was small and poorly maintained. They say they are under construction but the plumbing in our room was not part of the project. It hasn’t been part of anyone’s project for a long time: we flushed the loo in the morning and woke the neighbors. The staff were lovely but when you order a cheese sandwich (from the menu) and they have no bread , and when you order coffee at 10am and they’re waiting for the milk to be delivered, you have to question the organisational skills."
A' Queenslin Guesthouse
"Exposed electrical wires, old delapidated bed, ant investation, host is worse than the room. Stayed for 5 horrific days. Host swears at you. Breakfast is BAD. Tiny cramped shower. Room dungey Only thing that was good was the swimming pool. "
Nantes-Vue
"Nantes-Vue is conveniently located on the outskirts of the CBD in Paarl. It is a character property (Cape Dutch) with a beautiful garden. We had a beautifully furnished & spacious room, with super comfy beds. Great Wi-Fi available & watched Netflix in the evenings. Shani & her team served delicious & hearty breakfasts. A BIG thanks for the exceptional hospitality ~ we will defiantly see you again!"
Under Oaks Guest House
"Wonderful setting but much left to be desired. Set in vineyards, one would have expected a welcoming complimentary Under Oaks wine . The rooms are spacious and lovely- clean and well kept, the beds are comfortable Very friendly and helpful staff Breakfast- sparse menu - in this type of establishment and at these prices I expected much more variety! The breakfast is very limited and Under Oaks should really have a serious look at the breakfast offerings! Overall, a worthwhile trip BUT there is definite room for improvements."
