Overall the experience was average. But there were times in the evening after a full day of activity where we relaxed in the lobby lounge and the receptionist was kind to offer us drink alternatives to the complimentary wine (traveled with kids. Had to go to lobby because room key did not work due to reception check in error for our stay. We had one more night but they wrongly input us for check out that day). Also the reception gave a great recommendation for dinner restaurant: Monterey Fish House. Great choice, was also mentioned in Yelp and had great reviews. I agree as well. It is packed with locals and tourists. I would have rated this place higher if not for the check in error and key card not working. Hospitality matters a lot. Of course cleanliness, price, and location also important factors.
