Walisons Peace Resort

Lovely views of the river and the snow-capped mountains around it. The building itself has seen better days but nevertheless the services were good except for the frequent blackouts. Breakfast & dinner were satisfactory. The camp fire at the garden was enjoyable although it was 1-2 degrees C.

Very small rooms, not even two persons can fit in the rooms with 2 bags of luggage. There is very frequent power cuts and at a time only one light and only one charging point works in the room. The care takers/ owners are very irresponsible and pathetic at customer service. We travelled with a group of 7 people and they took our Aadhar Cards and did not bother to return our ID proofs because of we had to face a lot of trouble at the airport. We asked the hotel care taker to send the IDs via courier and we will pay the courier charges. But they are such irresponsible that even after calling them every day they have not sent the IDs till now. It has been more than 2 weeks of following up with them. They are Illegally occupying ID proofs of the guests. Please avoid such people and such places.

Kashmir is paradise on earth and places like Walison Peace Resort help to make guests' stays in this heaven more memorable. This resort's location is just beyond beautiful. Every room is beautifully furnished and has an amazing view. Aijaz, the resort supervisor, is very humble and supportive. Delicious food by cook Irshad and hospitality with love and warmth by Bilal made our stay very peaceful. Their dedication moved us when they helped us take a sick kid to the doctor early in the morning at their Namaz time. And without a second thought, they helped us and made sure that the kid was safe and out of danger. Our requests have been duly fulfilled with a big smile every time. If you are visiting Pahalgam, you must stay at the Walison Peace Resort.

This resort is like a home away from home. Located in a beautiful area right on the river in between gorgeous mountains, it has access to the stream and a lovely big garden where we took chai ***y times a day! The guest house stay was comfortable and room was clean and good. We had breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse and each meal was really good. Above all the service was perfect and made our stay. Bilal, Aijaz and Irshad made us feel really welcome and took care of us. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Excellent hospitality,excellent food …. Really nice place to stay. Specially the resort ***ager Mr. Aijaz is very helpful and accommodating… All the other staff Mr. Bilal and Irshaad was brilliant in serving us. Bottom line is this place is must visit in Pahalgam.

I visited this resort in March 2022 with my family... Resort is located on the sides of lidder river which makes it very nice to sit in the outdoors and enjoy the all round view...Having your meals sitting on the river itself itself makes it soo enjoyable... Resort was located a 3kms away from pahalgam market which makes it very quite and peaceful... Rooms are okayish but I must mention service given by Mr Ejaz, Mr Irshad(food served was quite good especially breakfast )and Mr Bilal were outstanding and courteous... They will always serve you with a smile and make your stay worthwhile...

This place is amazing to stay ….Awesome location …Awesome hospitality and Awesome service ….One must stay here !!! Highly recommended….The ***ager , the chef and the persons serving us all did a great job !!we all really had a wonderful time

The property is situated at the bank of Lidder river where multiple streams are joining together, hence the view is breath-taking. We arrived there on a super cloudy day with a toddler who was sick due to exhaustion. They hosted us with warm care, arranged someone who accompanied us to medicine shop and we spent rest of the day just by sitting at the bank of Liddar. It was the most soothing and peaceful moments of our Kashmir trip. Next day the sun was up and the valley looked extraordinary. Pros: 1. Nice cosy bed, with electric blanket to warm you up. 2. Clean room and washrooms, with good indoor sunlight. 3.If the power supply is on, no issues getting hot water round the clock. 4. Above everything, the view and easiest access to Lidder bank. Cons: 1.I am deducting 1 point due to the food. We ordered soups at 6 pm, as pre-ordered dinner at 8pm. It was served at 10.30 , we were famished and tired. Later we discovered it was made with packaged soup powder and they charged 120/- per soup bowl (a soup packet hardly costs 20/- per serving). Next day morning we were supposed to check out at 9AM. The breakfast was not served, they said they can serve the breakfast only after 9.30. 2. During prolonged power-cut, only one plug point inside room was working. So I doubt the capacity of their power back up.

Excellent location beside ladder river...it is located before Pahalgam main market. Nice place for nature lovers. It is a homestay type with 6 rooms. The food is homely with awesome taste. Rooms and washroom is neat and clean. Excellent service from the ***ager to staff. They made our trip memorable. If I again visit Pahalgam I would like to stay here. Thank you for excellent service.
