Hotel Zebrina, Pahalgam

Definitely recommend this. The views from the garden outside are amazing. The owners are such wonderful hosts and breakfast is tasty too !

The guest house is very guest friendly and Fayaz, Afzal and Jalaluddin made it feel like home. I would certainly want to go back to this place again. The food is wholesome and made according to your taste. Endless cups of Kahwa were the icing on the cake.

No access or view of river as claimed , pictures shown are totally misleading No kitchen , shabby rooms , lawn is fully covered with washed clothes etc , no privacy After reaching there you realise things are not as claimed Comparatively opposite Santoor hotel is much much better, owners are fully cooperative , direct access to river with small private lawn & sitting arrangement

We are travellers who work remotely and have lived in ***y different kinds of spaces. Zebrina has a well-maintained garden and outdoor space. The front rooms have a great view of the mountains and receive sunlight throughout the day. The rooms are relatively clean but the carpets on the floor accumulate dust. This affected my partner who has dust allergies. The room is basic and is comfortable for only 2. The hosts are great and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The food provided was simple home food. If you are working remotely be cautious of power outages and Wifi issues. I left purely due to Wifi issues and would have otherwise stayed there longer. Zebrina is located next to a river and has ***y parks closely. We can walk to the market (15 minutes away), if required.

Good things first - Great lawn, very cooperative owner. Now, other things - The building and rooms are very old. The interior is very outdated. One doesn't feel like living in these rooms and just somehow ***aged to pass the night. The hotels in row just opposite this hotel are right on the bank of river and they have location advantage. However, services are not known in them. Overall, average stay and that too because of good behaviour of owner.

Excellent homestay in beautiful location surrounded by mountains. Staff are warm and friendly and they guide you for local tour. Food served is tasty. They have huge lawn which is well maintained. Lidder river is close by and can be seen from the room. Highly recommended for budget travelers.
