Room clean good service restaurant was totally full

Excellent service from the reception staff to the bar staff. All queries answered straight away.

Would highly recommend staying here. Staff were lovely and the room was so comfortable with everything you need and in a perfect location close to everything going on. Immaculately clean everywhere - the sea view rooms are great - All lovely and new and would stay again without a doubt

Have just had one night at the amazing hotel. The hotel is In the perfect location right on paignton seafront. From the moment we checked in with Amy the receptionist, who was fantastic and so helpful, to the moment we Checked out nothing was too much trouble. We had a meal in the restaurant which was amazing, hats off to the chef. Again thank you for a wonderful stay, will definitely stay here and recommend to friends and family

We stayed here the day we got married. When my husband checked in, the staff were so enthused that we were staying with them, that they upgraded us to a privileged room and gave us early access as it was only 11 am. The staff were so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We didn't arrive back at the hotel until the evening, after our reception. The bar was still open, and we had champagne with our friends, who were also staying there. When we got to our room, which was so lovely with a huge bed, the hotel had left us a bottle of bubbly on ice and two cards, wishing us happiness ❤️. The breakfast was a buffet, with hot and continental food, everything you could want. The added bonus was the weather as we had our breakfast sat on the veranda with the sun on our faces. I would highly recommend staying here, the staff made us feel really special.

A new hotel with brilliant seaside views and a good location for communing across Torbay for business purposes. The breakfast is good however the lunch and dinner selection didn’t offer much for a vegetarian

Unfortunately the experience at this hotel was t the best! Housekeeping were far from perfect to say the least Firstly they only half did the rooms when we returned from our day trip out we noticed a few things and explained this to reception they sent housekeeping up stright away, and explained everything missed they could Sort now….. as we were using the rooms at that moment and they had all day to sort it wasn’t great timing Beds weren’t touched and housekeeping’s excuse was - you could be elderly and May not want it done - personally this is an OUTRAGEOUS EXCUSE. Any bed in a hotel should be made unless said otherwise. Robes left at the top of the wardrobe - not changed Towels unchanged - excuse they were hanging up - not left on the floor (wasn’t clear) Glasses weren’t changed Bathroom bin left in sink Whilst this was happening and we were explaining the service was slightly disappointing the housekeeping staff were smiling saying this which made things worst as it was like they thought it was a joke. Finally, the dinner service although the bar staff and waiter (William) in particular were sensational and actually saved our trip the food was below par on our final night and informally had to send it back as it was cold. There are elements of this hotel that certainly need addressing for paying customers the exterior of the hotel is fantastic but if you look between the lines there are a lot of issues and unfortunately customers are paying for this.

Great location- friendly staff, rooms are well maintained and comfortable breakfast we found to be very enjoyable good selection and hot items were hot(not always the case at some buffet breakfasts) poached eggs to order perfectly cooked, car parking at a daily charge of £15 on a first come basis definitely worth a stay if visiting the Area
