This hotel is very good. We booked a room on the second floor. There is a separate room upstairs with a balcony and a good view. It is not far from the pier and the sea. There are many small shops in the town, which are worth recommending.

Inside the hotel is very dirty, a lot snack under the bed. We also request for room connection or side by side, the staff member just notice when check in.

I stayed at Scenic Hotel with my 10 and 15 year old kids for two nights. We had dinner at the restaurant on 20 Saturday, April 2024. The restaurant manager (his name was Zane) was grumpy and so unfriendly towards us. My kids and I were surprised over his rude behavior towards us. We wanted to move out right away but because it was too late in the night we decided to dine at the restaurant. It was an unpleasant experience. Hope the management provide Zane some customer service training focusing good manners.

This is quite a large resort built in separate blocks. We were on the second level in the 700 block. The room was really nice, the bed very comfy and we didn't hear any noise at all. It was lovely to have a balcony to sit out on, but it was beginning to get a bit cool when we were there. Both breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff were exceptional. There was the added bonus of a guest laundry with complimentary washing powder. It was only a 5-10 minute walk to reach the sea front so the hotel was very well positioned.

The room was very large and clean. They came in and cleaned my room each day. There was a lot of stock for beverages and the bathroom area. Very quite a private and walking distance to the beach and many restraints. I had breakfast each morning which was amazing with lots to offer. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was situated in a great central location in Paihia, proving a central base to explore Northlands. Good selection of food at breakfast. We stayed in a standard room - strongly recommend avoiding this type of room at the hotel. Ours was very tired, carpet was threadbare in places, the bathroom was tired but adequate. One major concern was the only lock on the inside of the room door was a chain. We felt the best rooms were kept for the myriad of tour companies using the hotel.

The property is surrounded by green, close enough to the beach that you can walk, but there is no view from your room. The property is bit old, and not very clean, we found the previous guest earings on the night stand. Rooms are small but with high ceiling, "neigbours" can be loud if they choose to chat sitting outside. Staff are helpful and very friendly.
