"Accomodation was satisfactory. However, on our check out day we overslept and past our check out time. Instead of trying to contact us, hotel reception unlocked our doors and woke us up. Although the fault is entirely ours, this striked as a security and safety concern to us."

"My wife and I have stayed at the Outrigger around five times over several years and it is now looking very tired and in need of a makeover. The item that needs to be replaced first is the double bed, which was well past its use by date. Having said that, the Outrigger enjoys prime position in Paihia."

"Have just spent 4 nights staying at this wonderful accommodation which is perfectly located in Paihia and the views from the rooms are just wow. We were warmly welcomed by Inge who couldn't have been more helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. We stayed in the Romantica Suite at the very top of the house and the climb up all the stairs was certainly worth it. Lovely breakfast provisions and the best room to shelter from the rain on our last day. Would recommend without hesitation and would love to return someday even though its a long way from home"

"The views were so beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the fresh fruit and other included snacks are a very nice touch. Peter and Katalina are both very welcoming and readily available when we were coming and going and we had an excellent stay. We did find the plug-in air freshener a bit too strong, so we unplugged it and were fine."
