Mantegna Rooms is very central, in a convenient position for getting around Palermo on foot. Very clean environment and owner very kind and available for any information. The only comment I make is the lack of breakfast which, in my opinion, could be included with a small addition to the cost.

The Mantegna Rooms is located in a very central position to easily reach the main streets of the historic center of Palermo on foot: in fact, it is located a stone's throw away not only from Via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emanuele, but also from the main markets, the Cathedral and the Palazzo Real. The rooms are spacious and, although Via Roma is very busy and therefore noisy, the thick window frames allow you to rest peacefully. Comfortable bed and pillows. Score 10 for the courtesy and helpfulness of Luca, the owner: he provided us with valuable advice on what to see and the various places to have lunch/dinner. The only flaw is the cleanliness, which could be improved a lot. In any case, a highly recommended place.

"Location, location, location" is a real-estate term, but it applies to Mantegna Rooms, too. From this lovely spot in the heart of historic Palermo we walked EVERYWHERE! Restaurants and bars, history, and friendly people are nearby. And though it's on a vital artery, we hardly heard the traffic noise at night! Mantegna Rooms has been updated and has every modern convenience. The Wifi is fast and dependable, the showers hot, and the bed very comfortable. Last but not least, Luca is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived, he pulled out a map of the centro storic, described Palermo's geography, and circled some of the "don't miss" places nearby, including good restaurants.

The property is in an excellent position from where it is possible to reach the most interesting points of the city on foot. The rooms are simple but nice and clean, equipped with everything you need. A surplus is the very kind and very helpful owner.
