Arriving at the hotel, we realized that everything was closed, we called and they told us that 38 Aira Hotels is under maintenance, consequently our reservation was moved to 55 Aira Hotels, at the central station, about 20 minutes walk away. We would have preferred to know beforehand, but we had booked half an hour before, so they didn't have time to notice the booking and notify us. We were given a quadruple room, very nice and clean. The biggest flaw, which we had difficulty with, was the fact that the air conditioner, despite being set to heat mode, did not work, and you would die from the cold in the room. We were forced to move to the other adjoining single room, with the air conditioner working. (As it was a quadruple, with two rooms, we took advantage of that). Despite this, the positive note is that the receptionist who welcomed us was very kind.

Kept very simple. Price - performance is ok. The breakfast was surprisingly rich. Unfortunately, from 6:45 a.m. onwards, sleeping longer on vacation is over, because it was very loud from the reception. This is a pity. The rooms are just a few meters from the reception.

Du 09.05 au 14.05 matin En plein centre de Palerme, un hôtel très moyen pour un prix élevé. bruyant comme jamais, impossible de dormir sans coton dans les oreilles et encore ! La chambre était terne sans aucune déco. Point positif : la literie et le personnel de chambre. L’accueil est juste aimable. Quant au petit déjeuner : Buffet continental ( c'est une plaisanterie ) pas de pain basique, pas de beurre, pas de café hormis un expresso de 10ml. La machine ne fonctionnait pas ( donc pas moyen de se rabattre sur un chocolat chaud ) Même si l'hôtel n'y est pas pour grand chose, les conditions pour garer son véhicule le soir est dantesque. tourner 1 heure en passant par des ruelles si étroites qui fallait rabattre les rétros ( voiture normale) sans compter l'état des routes et des rues ( pas de trou sur la chaussée DES CREVASSES. Palerme est très sale et très bruyante Bref je vous déconseille vivement cet hôtel pour la prestation globale et sa situation géographique. Très déçu.

Siamo stati per il ponte del 1 maggio siamo arrivati... camera non pronta e va be... il signor massimo ci ha invitato a fare un giro in via maqueda ,nel frattempo siamo stati fuori 2 ore ritorniamo camera quasi pronta 2 giorno usciamo dall'hotel 9.30 visitiamo Palermo ritorniamo per le 17.oo in hotel apriamo la porta della camera... amara sorpresa non hanno pulito e ne fatto il letto complimenti chiediamo spiegazioni ci dicono che le signore che fanno le pulizie sono andate via , che faranno presente il fatto intanto aggiustatevi ,come servizio no comment...Lo chiamano hotel ma da l'impressione di un affitta camere mi dispiace ma sconsiglio vivamente per il prezzo e per organizzazione...

If you want a hostel/ college dorm type of place, this is it. BEWARE... On website, they offer free airport shuttle. (After 3 contact tries, we took a cab.) they also advertise bar in hotel. Nope! There is a bar looking area, with a few liquor bottles on shelf. I asked when the bar opened. Front desk said "no, that's not really a bar. There's one down the street". (Which is past a couple homeless spots). Booked non refundable rooms, walked into rooms and right back out. Even with what I think is false advertising, no refund. They don't care. We wound up walking 4 blocks to a lovely, slightly higher priced hotel that was VERY nice. I recommend that in the first place

We arrived at the property late in the evening but Mr. Massimo, the doorman, immediately proved to be very kind and helpful. He then surpassed himself when he resolved a small misunderstanding regarding an inconvenience in the booking. The hotel is quite dated and poorly soundproofed, the rooms are not large but it is clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is simple, and Mrs. Fatima in charge of the service was not as kind, like Mr. Massimo, on the contrary! Furthermore, in my opinion, in Palermo you can find better things at a much lower cost.
