Camera pulita e materassi molto comodi. Proprietari gentilissimi. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Bellissima vista sul teatro. L'accesso all'hotel è un po' scomodo con due rampe di scale molto ripide. La notte abbiamo dormito piuttosto male per il rumore proveniente dalla strada molto affollata. La prossima volta chiederemo una camera che non si affacci su quella via...

I can only say one good thing about this hotel and that it was very clean. But it was up two flights of steep stairs and in the heart of - and above - the restaurant and nightlife area. My bed was very uncomfortable; a rather wobbly iron frame with a piece of hardboard covering it, on top of which was a mattress. The sheets and pillow cases were very clean but the cover was very thin and shabby. After the first morning we went out for breakfast as here it consisted of way too much sugar - even by Italian standards and was, I thought, expensive for what we were given. But...the worst experience was the relentless noise. All night with no respite. Very loud music from the bars and people wandering the streets. We didn't sleep at all for 3 nights. We stayed at two other places in different parts of Sicily, both of which were just wonderful, but I'm afraid I would never go back to, or recommend the Verdi.

I have no complaints with anything but the room I took was very small. Also the reception area was a 2 flight walk up with no elevator. The hosts were very kind and the breakfast was ample.

Ho soggiornato una notte e sono rimasta soddisfatta di questa scelta. Le camere sono ben tenute e pulite, la signora in reception è molto gentile e disponibile e mi ha fatto subito sentire a casa. L'hotel è comodissimo per la sua posizione centrale, a un minuto a piedi da Teatro Massimo. Trovandosi proprio nel mezzo della vita di Via Maqueda, la notte non è molto silenzioso, ma era immaginabile. Comunque rimane un buon riferimento per la prossima volta a Palermo.

Hotellet er som sådan fint. Venligt personale. Der var rent og pænt, og morgenmaden var ganske fin. MEN, får man værelse ud til gaden er det nærmest umuligt at sove om natten.
Der er meget larm fra musik og støj fra restauranterne i gaden. Pga. de gamle vinduer, var det nærmest som at sidde på gaden, selvom værelserne er placeret på 3. sal. Ufatteligt man ikke har løst det, for netop dette ødelagde hele opholdet og oplevelsen, fuldstændig, desværre.

Very good position in.the middle of the town. No elevator. No fridge in the room. The man in the reception was very noisy especially evening nights. Nobody was speaking english.
