The hotel is located near to the Central station, that is convenient for arriving and departing by train, but the neighborhood look very scary during the night, and I felt unsafe to come back to the hotel after 6:00 PM.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the train station. But it's an old hotel, it's the key. And the hygiene is terrible, 5 flies were killed in the room. It is recommended to stay in a newer hotel

We spent three nights in this tiny hotel and despite the hospitality of the staff at the reception and the breakfast area, we are sorry but we do not recommend a stay in it. The first surprise was the location: the reception is on the third floor (second level above ground) and could be reached by a really small elevator or by steps. Our room next to the breakfast area, especially our bathroom and the whole hotel smelt badly of mildew. The bathroom ceiling was completely covered with mildew. Everything there needs an urgent and thorough refurbishment. The WiFi was also bad and needed a constant reboot by the staff. The socket for the electrical razor in the bathroom was losing contact. The socket in the room was also loose. Despite the noise from the Via Roma, we were happy that we didn't get a room in the Via Pola side alley because the garbage containers there were full, wide open and they smelled really bad.

It was convenient. The staff was very courteous and helped me to access my email which had had an overseas hold on it. The hotel was in walking distance of the train station and had several city bus routes serve the place. The dining was good. I explored the light rail system. Overall, very good!

L'hotel si trova in una buona posizione per visitare la città, anche se non è moderno, è pulito con personale molto gentile. Abbiamo pernottato soltanto una notte e abbiamo fatto un'ottima colazione. Lo consiglio per chi vuole visitare la bella Palermo.

Hotel con posizione eccellente per visitare ma soprattutto con personale molto gentile, in particolare modo il sig. Giovanni è stato di una gentilezza infinita nel mettersi a disposizione per un piccolo problema che abbiamo avuto durante la nostra permanenza, ma in generale tutto il personale è davvero simpatico,ci hanno fatto sentire a casa , Palermo è una città meravigliosa che ci ha regalato grandi emozioni , se ritorneremo a Palermo ritorneremo senza dubbio all' hotel del centro , dove abbiamo trovato cortesia squisita

At the outset, yes, I would stay here again. On the plus side, it’s conveniently located close to the station and a short walk from much else. The staff was very nice and someone is at the desk 24x7. One the downside, the hotel’s one-time grandure is history and there’s nothing “nice” about it. If you’re OK with that, then you’ll enjoy a nice, functional stay.

Skeleton room key. Very unusual these days. Checkin process was simple efficient. Front desk was very helpful. Hotel is older. Room had character. Would have liked more elec outlets.
