這個酒店位於一片居民區裏面，如果不是導航根本不知道原來這裏還有個hotel，牌子小的可以忽略，我們一度以為我們走錯地方了
這個hotel是以復古，懷舊加藝術風格的，個人還是更傾向於現代化的酒店。
因為工作和行程原因，我們是過了零點才到的，是鄰居家小孩告訴我們打電話找人來接待的。服務員還是非常不錯的，很熱心

Absolut entzückendes kleines b&b. Man kann alles fussläufig erreichen. Die Zimmer sind witzig eingerichtet und alles ist sehr individuell. Super freundliches Personal. Großartiges Frühstück das für 4 gereicht hätte. Wenn wir wieder nach Palermo kommen dann definitiv wieder hier 😍

È stato un piacere soggiornare qui, tutto è stato impeccabile. A partire dall’accoglienza: receptionist gentilissima e disponibile; il proprietario Alessandro sempre sorridente e tutti pronti a fare 2 chiacchiere con i clienti e dispensare consigli utili sulla visita di Palermo e dintorni. Camera dotata di ogni comfort e piena di dettagli che l’hanno resa super particolare. La SPA è una coccola vera e propria. Nota d’onore per il cibo: squisito, super abbondante e soprattutto tipico, molto meglio di tanti hotel 4*. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare in Sicilia e sicuramente continueremo a consigliare il b&b Porta di Castro a tutti gli amici!

Haben im April 2023 während einer Sizilienrundreise das Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht.
Der Besitzer Alessandro hat uns nach Mitternacht mitten in Palermo abgeholt und uns mit unserem Ferienbus zum Hotel gebracht und das Fahrzeug parkiert.
Perfekter Service und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit absolut zu empfehlen.
Frühstück unschlagbar vielseitig, frisch, lecker hat an nichts gefehlt.
Sehr empfehlenswert Grazie Alessandro.

I enjoyed Staff hospitality and welcome. I did not enjoy the nearby area as it was not safe. I also did not enjoy the breakfast, i thought it would have been a buffet, i got served much food but it was not what i would have chosen

Vacanza organizzata all’ultimo momento ma riuscita sotto ogni aspetto. Il B&B si trova nel cuore del centro storico e ci ha permesso di girare a piedi in lungo e in largo senza problemi per visitare tutte le attrazioni principali della città . Al ns arrivo ci hanno accolti con uno spuntino di benvenuto incredibile e tra l’altro nn dovuto. Ci hanno suggerito ed indicato cosa vedere, dove passeggiare e dove mangiare. Quindi gentili e disponibili. Avevamo prenotato una camera standard tra l’altro comodissima e carinissima, per cui immagino che le superior saranno bellissime. Abbiamo utilizzato la spa con un percorso di un’ora. Praticamente un angolo di paradiso tra profumi, idromassaggi da favola e totale relax. Con la colazione il colpo di grazia…hanno dovuto aggiungere un tavolo al ns per poter poggiare tutto quello che ci hanno portato. Tutto espresso, con cornetti e dolcetti caldi, spremute buonissime, affettati appena tagliati e tavola calda buonissima. Inutile dire che nn abbiamo pranzato. Il proprietario cordialissimo ed evidentemente dedito con passione al suo lavoro. Insomma tornare a Palermo per noi ha un punto di partenza fisso ormai. Consigliato assolutamente a tutti. Everyone was professional throughout our stay, but through a combination of some pop-up issues and the general room setup, we were not very comfortable at the b&b and pretty surprised compared to the price. We stayed for three nights in the off-season (March) and had a combination of 1) no hot water (fixed by the hotel within about 12 hours but involved asking 2-3 times when I was told it worked fine, then had someone in the room for about an hour since it turned out the gas had been out), 2) aggressively loud construction noise at 7:30am, and 3) room temperature challenges, since the heat doesn't run when you leave the room and the stone takes ages to heat up in low temperatures. The water was a little extra frustrating since we'd paid to upgrade for the claw foot tub and the couldn't use it for half the stay. In general, little touches are just not oriented towards comfort- cold stone with no rugs or slippers, thin small towels, etc. Some things like neighborhood construction aren't in their control, but at the price, I really expected they would create a comfortable guest experience. On the positive side, we loved breakfast and really appreciated them arranging airport taxis (rate is the same as standard from city center, no premium).

It is a very nice establishment in a central location. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The owner is very friendly and attentive to guests' requests.
