Excellent in every respect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Well, the Ritz did it again! What an amazing experience. This visit with my mother was different from others because we had the blessing to be able to stay at a different hotel for a week prior to our week at the Ritz. Maybe it is because these stays were back to back, but we truly "felt" why the Ritz has such a high rating. The staff is comprised of some of the kindest people I have ever met. Roel from the beach staff, Dialma from Guest Services, Adela from Solanio, Natalya and Maxine from the Spa, Cristian from the front desk, Daniel from BLT, and Keanue from the ****** were some individuals that really stood out during our stay. Some of my favorite parts of the trip was having an opportunity to speak with these individuals. Obviously the property is gorgeous and can be described by the spectacular photos but what the pictures cannot show you is the level of safety at this property. As two women traveling alone, there was not a single moment where I felt uncomfortable or felt as though I could not walk the property solo day or night. It is not that there is bountiful amount of security, but rather the staff cultivate this culture. This hotel is marvelous for families and couples, but for those solo travelers out there, do not overlook this property!

Great spot

The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is, overall, an excellent hotel. It is aesthetically pleasing, on a lovely stretch of beach, and with many fine qualities. Service, especially Front Desk and Concierge, is outstanding. Housekeeping is to be commended on how clean they keep everything, which is not easy as a beach property. Especially appreciated that they really cleaned and replenished towels and water at turn-down so you could have everything fresh after showering from a day at the beach but in time for bed. However, client preferences should be asked and then respected: after having housekeeping surprise us by randomly unpacking and putting possessions in the strangest places (and mixing up dirty laundry with our clean clothes), we requested this not be done... but it kept happening in different ways. There should be better training and standardization (each employee did something different). Beach set-up is great: plenty of high-quality sunscreen and after-sun products plus copious amounts of iced water at several stands; also enjoyed AM and PM treats (fresh melon, popsicles). Having said that, we only found out about certain little "surprise treats" by accident here and there. It would be much better to know ahead of time about the above offerings and that complimentary iced cappuccino is available in the AM at the towel hut, for example. Am sure there were other things we missed out on, too. Also very happy with the water equipment available to guests. Super pet-friendly - yay!
