Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa and Casino

Hotel location and landscaping are outstanding. Close to all exterior and beach restaurants. Pools are nice and night swim feels good since the water is warm. The only negative point is thhe breakfast(so so basic for a 5 star hotel like Hyatt)

Comfortable and clean rooms. Well kept property. Excellent location from both beachside and street side so everything is convenient and walkable. Staff is top notch and well trained. Definetely consider this property for your next stay. Thank you and we will be back.

Hyatt Regency Aruba is the most beautiful resort that we have ever stayed in. The resort is even more stunning in person that the pictures online relay. Everything was immaculate and the service was superb. The food and drinks at all of the restaurants on the property were incredible and we absolutely cannot wait to return in the future. This resort definitely exceeded every expectation that we had and we made some wonderful family memories that will be held near and dear to our hearts forever!

This is a really nice property and the service was really good. We would definitely stay here again. A few details: This trip was just me and my wife. We stayed 4 nights. The room was nice and we had a great view of the pool area and the beach. Bed comfortable. AC worked well. However, the shower didn't get very hot and the walls are thin. You can hear some music from the pool and you can hear the people in the rooms next door. We heard phone alarms and we heard some kids getting rowdy once or twice. We are pretty chill and this didn't bother us but I know others who would not like it at all. Housekeeping always left bottled water each day. Service overall was very good. Better than expected all over the island but also at the Hyatt. There were some exceptional servers and bartenders at the resort. The kind you look forward to seeing the next day. I'm not going to break down every bar and restaurant but will say we enjoyed all our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinners) and cocktails. Pool- we reserved and paid $75 for the daybeds at Tranquila Adults Pool. It was fantastic. It felt like an oasis and we had the option to hit the beach and ocean right from there. Every spot has a 'server flag' so you can call for food and drinks whenever you like. Yes there birds and lizards. We thought they were cute and fun. Although they hang out to be fed, they do not harass you. They are just around. We decided to get massages at the Spa and although we appreciated them and the staff, the Spa nor the massage stood out. It was a nice way to spend the morning however, we wouldn't spend the ~$250 each to do it again. Additional details: There is a walkway between all the hotels on Eagle Beach. You can walk to any other property and have a meal, snack or cocktail. You just need to bring your $$ with you. Lot's of people took advantage of it including us. We visited the Pelican's Nest on the dock one resort over. Great spot. Highly recommend. Also within walking distance, just outside the front of the hotel and one block down, is a shopping, restaurant and bar area. Also a great spot to check out. Whether you want to have a nice dinner, drinks with loud, festive music or just some gelato and a walk, there was a bit of everything.

I wish I could give the resort a higher rating but it was just so disappointing. On the plus side, the resort is very nice and kept very clean. The staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes not. My sister and I were looking forward to LIVE music (Tues through Sunday as the web site says) On one day only there was a three piece band by the bar - that's it! We went for dinner the first night and when we returned just about everything was shut down! This was not late - it was around 7 pm. There was one restaurant open but the pool closes early as well as the bars. We wanted to go for an after dinner drink but ended up going to our rooms. Boring!! Also, not even complimentary coffee/tea. You have to go to the coffee shop. It's about $5 a cup which we didn't mind paying but when you're paying $500 + per night you expect at least some amenities. Lastly, guests have to pay for palapas at the beach. If you want to see the ocean you might have to pay $50 for two people. Yet we met some people that were staying at an air BNB nearby and they had a spot right near the water and paid $35. We didn't mind reserving spots and the beach and/or pool but again, the extra charge was annoying. In the end it didn't really matter to us if we were near the water since it was extremely cloudy and boat cruises kind of ruined the view. The condition of the water is not the fault of the hotel obviously but it was just not inviting. It had an odor to it also, which we didn't know where it came from until we read some of the other reviews. (sewage problem?) We have no plans to come to Aruba in the near future but if we do we would stay in a condo with a much nicer beach.

Amazing place. Highly recommend. Grounds were beautiful. Amenities are top notch. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

The Hyatt presented an overall excellent experience. Compared to the other hotels, the Hyatt gave us the full family ambiance and feel of pleasing conditions.

This resort sits on a beautiful section of Palm Beach and the property is well-maintained and very relaxing.
