This hotel is absolutely amazing. The reviews and photos do not do it justice. I went with high expectations after seeing previous reviews, and they exceeded all expectations I had! The staff are absolutely incredible, amazing, and friendly- every single one of them. The room and facilities are great, and overall, the hotel is beyond perfect!

Just a very special place with very caring people to enjoy quiet luxury for this adults only location. We had a lovely time in Palm Cove and go there every two years for rejuvenation.

A fantastic luxury escape with a history and traditions that set it apart. We love The Reef House. We have stayed on several occasions and each time the bespoke service and attention to detail reminds us why we stay here every time we come to Palm Cove.

This place is absolutely stunning and exceeded already high expectations. Through our stay, we were made to feel part of the family even though they've had prime ministers and celebrities stay. The staff are amazing, the food wonderful, and the facilities beautiful. Highlight was definitely the indigenous culture presentation from a local first nation's person - highly recommend! I arrived burnt out and exhausted from work and I've left feeling rejuvenated, and very tanned!

We arrived to be greeted by friendly and caring staff. The pools were spotless and great service, plenty to do on the resort and outside. Really good service and an excellent place to stay. Thanks again we will be back again. 😁

The excellent facilities, availability and helpfulness of the staff in all areas were standout features of this great getaway location. The cultural and reef conservation presentations were particularly enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

From the detailed communication before our visit, the very personalised welcome, the gorgeous pools, surroundings and room it’s safe to say our experience at The Reef House was pretty perfect. The restaurant is outstanding for both breakfasts & dinner and the bespoke included experiences like cocktail making & wine tasting made our stay extra special. But the absolute standout of The Reef House is their people & service. From Cedric & Michelle front of house to the wonderful Kenny in the restaurant everyone we came across during our stay was just wonderful. We’ll be back!

This is one of the best hotels that my wife and I have stayed in! Why? Not the most modern of buildings, not the best bathroom and room facilities but what it lacks in its bricks & mortar it sure as hell makes up for it in its ambience, food quality, staff attitude and overall experience. Let me explain ….. the overall experience is so warm & friendly. Greeted as old friends or family, the “international” team are genuinely happy to look after you. From reception to housekeeping, concierge to restaurant, chef & kitchen team to maintenance they just shine! Congratulations to management and staff!! Now, I should add that I am aware that the hotel has a development and refurbishing plan well underway which will retain the “old colonial” warmth and charm, whilst improving the guest facilities. The little extras at the Reef House are a real nice touch …. wine tasting, cocktail making, punch & canapés at the Brigadier’s Bar to name but a few!!! This place has style!!! We spent a week (16-23rd April) relaxing here and enjoyed our time. Our third visit here ….. and we will be back!! Once again, I say this is a top experience!!

Beautiful resort with excellent staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant at the hotel is also amazing. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Hotel is well situated within walking distance to restaurant’s and beaches. Just beautiful
