Icon Roseto by Petit Palace

This is a beautiful boutique hotel on the heart of the old town. A beautifully restored building, with a small rooftop swimming pool and excellent breakfast. The nature of the hotel means that rooms are small but very clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Some small details not quite right for the amount charged. Breakfast is a fiasco when busy, shower grounting and caulk discolored and old so doesn't look clean. bedside table was dusty, taxi pre-ordered by reception to the airport didn't show up, after 15, 20 mins past the time I asked for taxi to arrive for I gave up and went out to street instead (and git one within about 2 mins)...basically an OK hotel in Nice setting and good location but lacks an eye for detail to be the standard of hotel they purport to be.

This is a lovely hotel that we would love to return to when we visit Plama. Location is exellence with walking distance to restaurants och shopping. Service is very god and staf is very helpful.

We spent 3 nights here at this wonderful centrally located hotel. A few minutes walk to the Cathedral and the many little squares in the Old Town. It is down a little side street and so quiet away from the main thoroughfare. Our room on the 3rd floor was a little on the small side but it is a boutique hotel so to be expected but the upside was that the beds were big and really so comfortable! Breakfast was fabulous. All the staff were very friendly and a special mention to Nabil who was an excellent host. We were a little disappointed the pool was out of action, however we thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon sunbathing on the rooftop which had glorious views across the city. The location is really excellent and we would return in a heartbeat.

Lovely hotel situated in great location in old town but easy walking to port cathedral shops. Lovely team of people at reception and in breakfast team … lacked pool or area to relax on roof as under reconstruction . Beds huge ,suite large but dark would choose courtyard facing next time . Breakfast fab.. hotel bar very quiet … people just didn’t use it as loads in a fab city to visit .

Perfect location for our group of 6 to spend 4 days in Palma, conveniently located in the centre of the old town. We booked directly with the hotel, registering with Tripster Club to gain a discount which worked out cheaper than any other providers. We got a taxi from the airport which was 23 euros. Lovely staff, very attentive, made us feel very welcome and offered so much helpful info and recommendations on places and restaurants to visit. We arrived early but were able to leave our luggage and go off to explore. When we arrived back all luggage had been taken to our rooms. The hotel is beautiful, full of rustic charm, it feels very peaceful and smells amazing. It is tucked away but still close to the bustling streets, perfect for shopping, bars, restaurants, cathedral, port, Portixol beach and Soller train station which were all walkable. Our room was clean and modern on the second floor with a Juliet balcony’s overlooking the hotel garden terrace. Breakfast was great, loads of choice, hot food like boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage readily available with omelette or fried eggs on request, an abundance of breads, continental pastries, cereals, cold meats, condiments and more. The staff did a great job ensuring it was always topped up and well presented. Every member of staff we came across were a credit to the hotel, even when we were leaving and I discovered I’d messed up the code for the safe nothing was too much trouble, they resolved the issue swiftly and pleasantly. I’d highly recommend staying at Icon Roseto if you get the chance.

The Icon Roseto was the perfect location for our 4 days in Palma, conveniently located in the centre of the old town . We took the A1 bus from the airport to the old town which is the last stop then walked 1 straight road to the hotel which was very easy and only 5euros per person. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by staff who offered so much helpful info and recommendations on places and restaurants to visit. and the hotel was very clean and inviting with a beautiful rustic charm. The hotel is tucked away and seemed very peaceful yet it was so close to the bustling streets , perfect for shopping, bars, restaurants, cathedral, port ,portixol beach, and soller train station which were all walkable. Our room was clean and modern on floor 3 which had opening doors and Juliet balcony’s overlooking the hotel garden terrace and offering a view of the surrounding town . BREAKFAST-was amazing ! with so much choice , hot food was boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and if you wanted omelette or fried eggs they offered this on request, an abundance of breads, continental pastries, cereals, cold meats, condiments , and more, and the staff ensured it was always topped up and well presented -would totally recommend!! This is not a complaint but a recommendation as everything else was so good, but the roof terrace was under construction during our stay and the pool was gone,but we still managed to find a sunny spot to enjoy the sunset and a see the cathedral lit up at night however if the roof terrace was turned in to a nice bar, and more inviting seating area it would amazing!! We would definitely return and recommend this hotel Thank you so much for making our stay in Palma so good.
