B&B Domus Palmi

Perfect location in the heart of Palmi and the main square Entire ground floor apar**ent with kitchen room, outdoor terrace and bedroom. Breakfast (sweet) as an all-you-can-eat buffet on the rooftop of the B&B. Smiling and accommodating welcome. Good value for money

The check-in was non-existent, with the lady who opened the door for us remotely without a minimum of information. The parking, advertised on the site, is non-existent (furthermore the structure is in a cordoned off restricted traffic zone, so it would still be impossible to reach by car). Furthermore, the surroundings of the structure are not a very safe area, and we were the ones who paid the price first hand. The continental breakfast, advertised on the site complete with photos, is non-existent: coffee machine, two different types of Mulino Bianco snacks, some loose plums in the fridge and an open bottle of water (if the snacks are for Covid, why is there were plums and open water? Nothing to drink for breakfast? The garden, sponsored on the site, is non-existent: and I challenge it, given that the structure is located in an old building in the center. You cannot advertise services, which become the discriminating factor for booking, and then find yourself faced with something completely different. There are no words to describe the discomfort we suffered in this facility. As if that wasn't enough, at such a high price that it's impossible to evaluate the quality/price ratio, given that there wasn't any quality, while the price certainly was! Totally not recommended.

We stayed for just one night in this b&b as a stopover before landing in Sicily, it is located in a central historic building, a stone's throw from the sea and the center, without taking the car, you can easily reach everything on foot. The room is large and renovated as is the bathroom, new and functional, cleanliness as per standard. The thing that left me perplexed, however, is the breakfast, due to Covid, it offers only and exclusively packaged products, at least it doesn't offer anything fresh or prepared and this is why I can't give full marks, because the Mulino Bianco snacks they cannot be admitted to a structure that also has a high cost, or long-life milk, for a do-it-yourself cappuccino, therefore practically a hospital breakfast with toast and jam. Our room faced the street and therefore had windows open, the noise of cars and people was notable but you can ignore it as it is a central B&B. The owner, kind and helpful. Apart from the breakfast that needs improvement, I recommend it

B&B developed vertically, without lift, in a historic building in the center of Palmi. Convenient and close parking. In 10/15 minutes by car you can reach the nearest beaches. The occupied room was recently renovated, tastefully furnished, fresh, quiet and with a comfortable bed. Cleanliness as per standard. Disappointing breakfast. The delicacies praised on the site consist of a series of bagged snacks (the relative wide choice of which diminished with consumption during the days of the stay - on the first day there were 4 or 5 types to choose from and only the last ones reached 1). days), cereal bars, pavesini, biscuits, disposable jams, Nutelline, yoghurt, long-life milk, tea, coffee and single-dose fruit juices, all self-service in a kitchen available to customers.
