Very old historic Gran Hotel, located at the best location in Pamplona ! A bit difficult to approach with the car

Great property right in the middle of town square

This is a lovely 5* property. Well located on a central square. Staff helpful and friendly. Valet parking. Good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Room large and comfortable - we had view over the square and got to watch the Epiphany parade in the square from our balcony. Internet connection worked well. Dining room closed for dinner at the time we were there. Only issue is that for breakfast, you order what you want, which is tough since the (friendly and helpful) waitress spoke only Spanish. (I would have preferred a buffet.) Overall, a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay there again.

-It was fun to drive right onto the Square. The staff was waiting for us already. We didn't have to go in. The staff took care of everything. It was also easy to have our car. At the drop of a hat, the car was there already and waiting. -Close to sights, with Calle de la Estafeta just on other side of Hotell ! :) Cannot ask for a better location! -Nice big room, brightly lit (didn't need flashlight :)), balcony that opens onto Square. What more can I ask? -Fast communication, big warm welcome to hotel before even arriving at hotel, helpful with room and view. -We were told of holiday and parade on Square and that we can just watch from our Balcony, which we did! :) -I went out walking in the rain. Hubby luxuriated in our room. -I cannot thank the staff enough--Maria who picked all our restaurants and made all our dinner reservations and helped me map the best walks; Safwan who took care of our luggage and car and showed us the Hemingway room; Daniel who plotted the best path for me to take when I told him what I wanted to see (and also told that it was important to see this (Portal de Francia)--and not that (Corralillos del Gas) this time of year (July, yes)--and suggested that I go inside Frontón Labrit if open and showed me on his mobile the game played. There was a chap with mustache--didn't get his name. I cannot thank the staff enough--everyone, including those whose names I did not get--but wish I had! --When I asked if I may see the Hemingway Room--they checked that it was available--I was told, It will be our pleasure to show you, Madame! I am basking in happiness all over again as I write this!

Five starts are not enough to give to this hotel and their friendly staff. The location, unmatched, the vibe, incredible. The rooms are beyond spacious and confortable. the bathroom is the best we experienced in Europe and they offer the most incredible toiletries. The staff was helpful and super friendly, the breakfast delicious. I can't wait to go back!

A gem of a property. Beautiful very helpful and friendly staff. Central location. BIG bathroom and shower. Very clean. Hemingway even gave it 5 stars and I agree. Looking forward to my next stay.
