Prainha Resort by the Sea

Ask if we could have a meal here as no wedding on and they said yes. Very extensive menu. I had steak it was lovely but quite expensive for Indian standards. There are service charges so beware. Very lovely surroundings but very quiet. You cannot go there if a wedding is on.

I had a lovely time staying at Prainha Resort by the Sea for 4 nights in February 2024 to attend a wedding, also held at the resort. I booked a 'deluxe sea-facing room' and was not disappointed. The room was incredibly spacious with a king-sized bed, a sofa, two arm chairs, a desk and chair, private bathroom and large private balcony overlooking the gardens, restaurant and ocean. The room was incredibly clean and was serviced daily, with two large bottles of water delivered every morning, which was a lovely touch. Our room had air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a mini fridge, with ample storage and wardrobe space. We didn't utilise the restaurant - we only ate at the resort during the two wedding days (for free, provided by the bride and groom). We went elsewhere on our other days because we felt that Prainha's food and drink was rather overpriced compared to other establishments in walkable distance. For example, a can of Coke at Prainha cost 177 Rupees (£1.70) but was 30 Rupees (£0.30) everywhere else. The cost of the room was very good - for me and my friend who shared the most expensive style of room, it came to £152 each for 4 nights with breakfast included. Sensational! The gardens were maintained well. The pool was gorgeous and warm, and you have access to a beach on your doorstep - largely covered in plastic that had washed up but there are people who clean the beach daily, I think, so it wasn't too much of a problem. Staff were lovely and accommodating, helping to arrange taxis etc. If I ever found myself in Goa again, I would love to stay at this resort. A slice of paradise.

We were party of 6 and stayed at Prainha , Goa for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. their restaurant ***aged by F&B service was excellent. during our stay we tried almost every dish on the menu and they all tasted delicious. staff was very friends and helpful. resort staff including room service and front desk were friendly. over all we had a wonderful experience and would look forward to stay here again!

A long love story between Prainha and me - I regularly visit them since 1996! The beach, the coconut plantation, the cottage on the lateritic cliff... the place is magic indeed. Not the best location to swimm in the sea - at the estuari of ***dovi and Zuari rivers - but a great landscape. The rooms are designed with taste, all different, using old adapted furnitures. Clean and nice rooms, kind and efficient service... when am I going next?

Poor & pathetic service. Rude reception staff. Mr Nandigopal at the reception was the most rude & non adjusting. Rigid rules not in sync with industry standards. No toiletries, no hair dryer. Poor housekeeping

2nd visit in two years as I love this property I love it's vibes but don't expect any service. There is no security on the so called beach attached to the property even if stray dogs run behind you you have to save yourself . No body greets you in the premises nor they are eager to provide any service. Food is over the head.prices are higher then any 5 star resort plus they will close the kitchen at 10:45 not even asking for last order . Overall if u wanna go just go for the Goan vibes of the place and don't expect anything else.

We had booked ourselves into the highly rated O’Pescador only to be told by them at check in that our Harbour Room was not available and they had to move us next door here, in hindsight am glad we moved here. This place was far newer and definitely better maintained than the previous one. Everything worked properly and overall a comfortable stay.

A fantastic setting,and a beautiful Hotel with lovely people running it,who totally understand the concept of customer care. A little Gem of a place in lovely surroundings,with an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of dishes for all tastes.If i'm staying in North Goa again,then personally i would look no further than here.A lovely welcome from Nani and his team,and a great week spent in peaceful prainharesort@gmail.com
