This place is modern, clean, well appointed, quiet... everything you want when staying away from home. It is within waking distance of Northlands Mall and an easy drive around the city. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. We will definitely stay again.

Very clean comfortable place to stay. Owner is delightful and very helpful. It’s a convenient location and on several bus routes so easy to get around. Shower was great and it was good to have fresh coffee available in the room. Cafe is just around the corner for a delicious breakfast.

The family stayed at Garden City for approx 6 weeks as we had a child in Burwood Hospital. Maree and Stuart were very helpful while we commuted between islands. They did things like warm the room before we arrived, let us store items and gave us directions around such a flat city.

This is a historic family hotel. The first night is a century-old old building, decorated with traces of luxury in the last century. The only thing I feel is that the bed is not very comfortable to sleep. On the second day, I changed the three-storey house opposite. It is better to bring the children to live here. There is a garden on the first floor, a kitchen and a balcony on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor. The decoration here is modern and minimalist.
