Was war denn da los? Ich hatte telefonisch einen Tisch für zwei Personen im Kaminzimmer reserviert. Als wir ankamen wurden wir jedoch in den "Salon" geführt. Auf den Hinweis, dass ich im Kaminzimmer reserviert habe, wurde uns einer von zwei freien Tischen zugewiesen. Dieser müsse aber noch eingedeckt werden. Das bedeutete, eine Papierserviette mit dreiteiligem Besteck wurde auf den Tisch gelegt. So what. Wir bestellten die Mezze für zwei Personen als Vorspeise. Ich wählte die Paella, die laut Karte 35 Minuten bis zum Servieren benötigen sollte, mein Mann ein Thunfischsteak, auf Nachfrage der Bedienung, medium gebraten. Die Wartezeit auf die Paella wollten wir mit der Vorspeise überbrücken. Nach 45 Minuten wurden unsere Hauptspeisen serviert. Auf meinen Einwand, dass wir eine Vorspeise bestellt hätten, wurde gesagt, dass diese zusammen mit der Hauptspeise kommen sollte. ??? Die Bedienung wollte die Hauptspeisen wieder mitnehmen. Wir verzichteten darauf und unsere "Vorspeise" wurde ebenfalls gebracht. Man bot uns ein Glas Wein als Entschuldigung an. Unsere Weinflasche war allerdings noch fast voll. Deshalb schlugen wir das Angebot aus. Warum ich 45 Minuten auf eine Paella gewartet habe, deren Meeresfrüchte furztrocken waren, erschließt sich mir nicht. Auch das Thunfischsteak meines Mannes war komplett durchgegart. Auf Nachfrage der Bedienung, ob es geschmeckt habe, führte ich die o.a. Einwände auf. Keine Entschuldigung, nur ein Espresso wurde uns gereicht. Wir haben bisher immer gerne hier gegessen und sind sehr enttäuscht

We came as a couple and only got a nice table when asked. The wine ordered was good, the food too, except for the "so crispy pork belly that you need a steak knife for it" - a steak knife came, pork belly too - you could have eaten it with a spoon, unfortunately it was totally soft. When I complained, the same piece of meat came back (albeit with less Pü) in dark but just as uncrunchy ... Both times "I'll let the kitchen know" came back. What's in it for you as a guest? Regret was expressed again when paying, but had to be paid anyway and the guest went home hungry and dissatisfied...

Very tasty food, friendly service. Large selection of food and drinks. Different combinations of pasta and sauce. Unfortunately, changes, for example to the pizza topping, could not be implemented and the pizza was brought without the additional ingredients ordered.

Hello, I personally don't think it's recommended, one employee doesn't know what the other is doing, the faecal shredder in the bathroom stinks when you flush the toilet so that it runs through the room, the couch wasn't cleaned, there were crumbs on it from the "previous tenant", Cover already comes out the inside (see pictures)

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst gelegen het midden van Papenburg. Gezellig en uitnodigend restaurant met heerlijk eten en zeker nietcte duur. Nette zeer schone kamer met een goed bed en een grote badkamer waar veel aanwezig is. Een echte aanrader.

I went to MediTerra with my family for dinner on my home visit and we were happy across the board, as always. I also experienced the small difficulties in service occasionally mentioned in older reviews three years ago, but that is long gone! I can only say good things about the service, everyone is friendly and requests and questions are addressed. I can particularly recommend the vegetable couscous, both vegan and with lamb - simply delicious! The falafel are the best I know of, the mezze is also excellent. The menu also offers an interesting selection for vegetarians and vegans! The promise made by the operators to meat lovers is aimed at keeping meat in good condition and, where possible, on regionality. It's also worth taking a look at the wine list and trying something new. The selection is manageable, but the quality is great. If you still have room for dessert, I can recommend the crème brulée or the chocolate moelleux with mint ice cream! In addition an oriental coffee - a dream. The ambience is cozy and valuable, we always feel very comfortable and enjoy the evening.
