Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel - Adults Only

Staff superb, particularly Nicoletta efficient bar service with a smile, Michael on reception for making us feel special and taking on board suggestions but biggest mention for head of entertainment (the only one) the ubiquitous Dali. Such energy and enthusiasm. Always smiling and getting guests involved. Thank you team for a very special holiday.

We stayed at this hotel half board for 7 days in April. All hotel staff at all levels are genuinely customer focused, very friendly and a real asset to the hotel. The standard and quality of the food was truly remarkable with something for everyone. Started every day with freshly cooked omelettes that were delicious! The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was vert pleasant and comfortable. The bed was huge and really comfortable with great supportive pillows. A variety of entertainment was available with aspects that would appeal to everyone. The weather was so good that we walked every day sometimes to Paphos in one direction and Coral bay in the other direction using the costal paths where available. It always felt good returning to the hotel due to the general friendly atmosphere. A true home from home! We absolutely loved it!

Arrived late at night so we missed evening meal but was given a complimentary card for lunch, also given a bag with sandwiches , crisps and an apple each in but didn’t eat sarnies as they didn’t look appealing, my partner tried them but left them as they weren’t good! Apart from that this hotel is fabulous, upgraded to AI at a cost of £120 each for a week, and pleased we did. Food was fantastic, drinks good, never tried the a la carte restaurant as we loved the food in the main restaurant so much, a great choice and varied day to day with a themed night menu each day. All staff very friendly and welcoming, such a credit to the hotel, they work so hard. Also a nice touch when you lying round the pool or beach areas to be asked if you would like a drink. Nicoleta in the bar is so lovely, such a bubbly person. It’s only a short bus ride into Paphos and to Coral bay in the opposite direction. Would definitely return to this hotel as loved its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Friendly reception staff, clean rooms, beautiful view, tasty breakfast. We had a very pleasant short stay and would happily recommend to anyone else visiting paphos!

Just returned from this hotel after 2 weeks of bliss. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food is very good and the complimentary A La Carte meal, !!!Was superb. The staff work so very hard always with a smile, Asmit was lovely, checking my husband got to the toilet ok, also Stefania, she was like lightening. All the staff very friendly. Housekeeping so very good. Went to this hotel over 30 years ago when it was called the Amalthea, stayed every year for 15 years, it is far superior than ever now. Michael greeted us, and even saw us off on the coach, also the food and beverage manager, such a lovely touch. Thank you ALL for a wonderful holiday. So glad we returned after the same experience last year. Hopefully see you in October xxxx

This hotel is in a quiet area of Paphos and if you wish to rest and chill this is the place to be ,set beside a pebbly cove . The staff at this hotel are fabulous they are pleasant friendly and very helpful ,and I now understand why couples return here time after time . Greeted on arrival by reception staff with a glass of bubbly and a very quick informative chat about the hotel . The reception staff are kind and very helpful Lift to room and cases already in there Pool towels and toiletries provided Large tv tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge Rooms spotless and cleaned daily also free safe and Wi-Fi We stayed half board. Great breakfast lots of choices Evening meals good too always a carvery fish salads Local dishes themed nights You can also book onto the al a carte one night which is exceptional During the day although we didn’t take part was aqua fit boules Pilates large pool in lovely surroundings Evening entertainment every night. Usually singers There is a bus stop outside which takes you into the harbour it is €6,50 for a day pass. You can also go to coral bay from here. But apparently it’s closed till may Also when leaving the hotel there is a supermarket a few hundred yards on the left Hope this review helps its a fab hotel. Absolutely loved it. Amazing hotel in every way. Staff couldn't do enough for you - everyone from reception to restaurant staff to cleaners. The food was fantastic. Loved the Greek music at breakfast time. Had one ' a la carte' meal as part of Tui package which was so special. Can't wait to go back. Plenty of sunbeds. Amazing views of sunsets.

Great service beautiful resort, food is excellent. Staff are hard working people always with een smile.. Entertainment is every evening different. For us the first time but not the last time.

First time at this resort and hotel. It exceeded my expectations based on one or two negative reviews I read beforehand. Immaculate and clean, super friendly and hard working staff, comfortable beds, and lovely pool and garden area, especially the fragrant rose garden and herb plants. The staff really take pride in what they do. The restaurant served typical buffet food and there was plenty of choice, with themed evenings such as Chinese, Mexican and Italian. As part of the package there is also an opportunity to have a la carte one evening and we really did get spoilt with waiter service and exquisite food choices. With regard to the room (we had partial sea view and sun first thing in the morning) my only complaint would be the noise of the busy main road in a morning and early evening. This wouldn’t put me off coming here again however but is worth mentioning. The beds were firm but with comfortable topping … this is perfect for me as I suffer from fibromyalgia. I had great sleep and little pain on waking which is an improvement on my holiday last year where the bed was super hard with no cushioning whatsoever. We were offered room cleaning every day but opted for alternate days (to save the planet!). The hotel offered either all inclusive or half board. We opted for the latter as breakfast was filling and we aren’t big drinkers! There were bottles of water on arrival and we were able to top these up daily. Other drinks we just paid for ad hoc. There was a choice of small supermarkets a short walk away and we were able to buy crisps and snacks. Gardens and plants were lovely and looked after. There was a choice of areas for sunbathing … poolside, although the loungers here were typically bagsied early by the usual ‘grab a lounger’ crowd, grassed areas surrounded by palm trees, and a grassed area by the sea. We preferred the latter which enjoyed a sea breeze and access to the sea. The small cove was perfect for swimming but would suggest swimming shoes as its grit and shingle under foot. The hotel shop sold some for 11.95 euro so would suggest bringing your own. All in all a great relaxing holiday and all the better for knowing it was cold and wet back home in the UK.
