"Chris is the best person in the world! He literally saved my life last Sunday — without him, I would have missed my flight. Out of his own kindness, he drove me to the station to catch the very last bus available. People like him are rare to find these days. The Hostel is well located and very safe. An absolute MUST!"

📍 Iasonos 1, street, Paphos

"Clean hotel, friendly service, private parking available for traveling by car, quite varied breakfasts, and on colder days the indoor swimming pool is a great option. The location is also good, there are shops, restaurants and close to the sea."

Tasmaria Aparthotel

Tasmaria Aparthotel

📍 Tombs of the Kings 50, Paphos
★★★ 7.5 (76 reviews)

"The hotel looked decent enough online, but once I checked in, it was a different story. There were no amenities provided at all — no shampoo, no body wash, I asked the receptionist and he replied that I need to buy my own. I had to go out and buy my own toiletries from a convenience store nearby. What surprised me most was the air conditioning situation. The room had an old wall-mounted unit, but to use it, you had to pay a daily fee. I understand it was a budget place, but even the basics like shampoo should be a given. It definitely made me appreciate the little things in other hotels — sometimes you don’t realize how much those small comforts matter until they’re missing."

"This was our third stay in the last 12 months and I think this says it all. We just love the place, its quiet atmosphere and its attentive staff that makes us feel like at home - Nicos, the manager, so helpful with booking or assissting with our endless questions.. Yelena, the kindest receptionist ever.. The cleaning ladies, doing their job very thoroughly... Everybody is always happy to talk and help. For us there's something about Helios Bay Hotel that makes us want to return as often as possible. Each stay is a treat and we can't wait to come again ❤️"

Veronica Hotel

Veronica Hotel

📍 Danaes Ave 20, Paphos
★★★ 7.8 (71 reviews)

"This is hotel is shabby and rundown - on arrival my door didn’t lock. The hotel owner showed me how to fix it so it locked and I was satisfied with that - however, he asked me to go inside the room with him and I said ‘no’ to which he began shouting at me. I complained to reception (who was nice) and she told me the person sorting out my door was the owner. The manager was called who was equally rude to me and invaded my personal space - the owner offered to take me for a glass of wine which I declined. Didn’t feel comfortable the entire time I was there and never had breakfast for fear of bumping into either man. Would certainly not recommend at all especially for solo females."

"Very nice hotel inside and out Indoor pool area rather nice. The view is pretty. For this price it lacks a lot of little touches (individual shower gel, welcome drink, industrial orange juice at breakfast...). The evening buffet is of average quality and quite expensive. We are overall rather disappointed with this hotel and will not return."

"A fab hotel, gorgeous setting and the staff can’t do enough for you. When we arrived we were taken to our room in a golf buggy with our luggage which was great. There are so many places to sunbathe, our favourite was the Ammos Adult’s Pool Bar, Stella who works behind the bar is such a lovely lady and can’t do enough for you. She brings drinks all day and really looks after everyone. Thank you so much Stella. Our favourite waitress in the buffet restaurant is Reka, a truly lovely girl from Hungary. She was so friendly, helpful and just a delight, she really brightened up my day every day. Thank you Reka, I’m going to miss you. Food great in buffet restaurant but the À la carte restaurants are gorgeous. Estia is fantastic with a beautiful Cypriot Mezze, really delicious and such lovely staff. The Aroma Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant and that was also excellent. My niece got married when we were here and it was absolutely stunning. Gorgeous location for the ceremony which was a short ride away from the hotel and then reception on a yacht, fabulous! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying here. I"

Paphos Gardens Holiday Resort Hotels in Paphos

"The staff was super friendly and let us in to the rooms before the official check-in time. We rented a one bedroom with a kitchen, because we intended to cook. These the areas where the place was lacking. 1. No rack in the oven (even after requesting, no follow-up). 2. No paper towels. 3. No salt and pepper. The apartment’s worst aspect was the bed - it was atrocious. Also, there were no real shelves or drawers to put our clothes, only closet space for hanging. Also the heater worked but didn’t do a great job heating the main area of the apartment."

Theo Sunset Bay Hotel Hotels in Paphos

Theo Sunset Bay Hotel

"We recently stayed at Theo Sunset Bay Hotel and overall had a good experience, but there are quite a few areas that could be improved to make it a much better stay. One of the highlights was discovering there is a quiet pool area, which isn’t mentioned anywhere. This was ideal for us as a couple without kids, as the main pools are very busy and quite noisy with families. That’s absolutely fine if you’re travelling with children or want a livelier atmosphere, but if you’re looking to relax, the quiet pool is a great option – it just needs to be better communicated. There were a few issues on arrival that weren’t ideal. The room was mostly clean, but there were small things like hairs and a dirty towel that had been missed. Several things in the room also didn’t work initially – the fridge, phone, and TV remote. While some of these were reported, the TV never worked for the entire stay, meaning we had no use of it at all. The fridge was also a consistent issue – it ended up freezing everything put inside it, even on the lowest setting. Both of these problems were reported to reception but were never fixed during our stay, which was disappointing. Housekeeping could definitely be improved. While bins were emptied and towels/bedding changed, the floors didn’t appear to be properly cleaned during our stay. The WiFi was unfortunately one of the biggest downsides. It was extremely unreliable, constantly disconnecting or failing to load anything. We had no WiFi at all in our room (805), and when it did work elsewhere, speeds were very poor (around 1.86 Mbps download and 0.43 Mbps upload). There was also little to no mobile signal in the room, which made it even more frustrating. Food and drink pricing was inconsistent if you’re not all-inclusive. Each round of drinks varied significantly, ranging from €8 to €14, which felt unclear and unpredictable. The bar also serves food, but this wasn’t advertised well – we only found out a couple of days before leaving after speaking to another couple. Evening entertainment was mixed. Some nights were enjoyable, but others were let down by poor performances. There is also children’s entertainment for a couple of hours in the evening, during which music is turned off in the main bar area. This would be better placed in a separate space so other guests can continue to enjoy the atmosphere. The location is good if you’re planning to stay within the hotel, particularly for all-inclusive guests who want a quieter setting. However, if you want to explore Coral Bay or Paphos, taxis are around €20 each way and not always reliable. They often take longer than expected, which can affect plans or reservations. There’s also very little within walking distance unless you’re comfortable walking along a main road in complete darkness at night. A few smaller points: there was no iron in the room and no information provided about laundry facilities, and the luggage room felt very insecure – it’s unmanned, unlocked, and acces"

"I highly recommend this beautiful 5* hotel. The property is stunning, location is superb, the sunsets from the roof top bar or beach are breathtaking and the management and their team are just amazing. From arrival to departure you felt 100% looked after and part of a very big family. Nothing is too much trouble and happy smiley people wherever you go. Thankyou we will be back next year"

M Boutique Hotel - Designed for Adults ★★★★
"A proper treat of a hotel — M Boutique is exactly what you want when you're travelling to unwind rather than work. It feels genuinely luxurious without being stuffy, and the kind of place where you actually end up chatting to other guests and having a great time. The spa and sauna are absolutely top notch — seriously impressive facilities that alone are worth the stay. Came out feeling completely recharged. The room was beautiful, the service warm and attentive, and the whole vibe is just very well judged for adults who want a bit of indulgence. Highly recommend!"

Tasmaria Aparthotel ★★★
"Good evening. Regarding my stay at this accommodation, let me tell you that it was the most disappointing stay I have ever had in my life. The hotel is partly responsible, but for the most important things, you are responsible. I booked two accommodations with 2 adults and 2 children. One was a studio which although there was a double bed (2 singles), there was also a sofa bed (also single) as a result of which one child had no place to sleep. It is worth mentioning that there were no sheets for the sofa bed, nor a pillow. The second one which was with a bedroom, I had 2 sofa beds but they did not fit to open and so we only opened one (which should have been ready-made as beds), also there were no sheets and pillows for them either. The air conditioning had to be paid extra for each room (something we could not leave) so we paid €16 for 2 A/C. Something that should have been stated in the services (that A/C is charged extra). So far, most of the responsibility lies with you. What is 100% the hotel's fault is that it was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. The mattress on the sofa bed was white with dust and underneath was full of bedbugs, the rooms had a very bad smell like mold with dust and took a very long time to open. Never again."

Helios Bay Hotel and Suites ★★★
"We stayed at Helios Bay for 9 nights, and this was our second visit, which says a lot about how much we enjoy staying here. The apartments are lovely, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The housekeeping team did an excellent job, attending every day with fresh towels and bedding, which was much appreciated. The pool area is also a real positive. There are plenty of sunbeds, so there are no early morning sunbed wars, and there’s always somewhere to relax. The only real negatives were the courtesy room and the lack of pool supervision. The courtesy room is in need of modernisation. It wasn’t particularly clean, there’s a clear glass door that looks straight into the shower area, offering very little privacy, and without air conditioning it becomes unbearably hot—you end up sweating to the point of feeling light-headed. The other issue was the main pool. During our stay, a large family repeatedly took over the pool with constant diving, large inflatables, and games of volleyball. The pool simply isn’t big enough for that kind of activity. At one point, a teenager even jumped over my head while I was in the pool and thought it was funny. I certainly made my feelings known! The behaviour became so disruptive that younger children wouldn’t even use the main pool. What was disappointing was that not one member of staff stepped in to ask them to calm down or show consideration for the other guests. A little more supervision would have made a big difference and ensured everyone could enjoy the facilities. Despite these issues, they were the only real negatives from an otherwise excellent stay. We would definitely return to Helios Bay again, but I do think staff need to be more proactive in managing guests who have little consideration for others."

"The hotel is not far from the beach. Winter is the off-season, so the surrounding area is not very lively. The room is not big, but it has basic facilities. The hotel front desk was very polite. After checking out, they let me park my car until the afternoon."
