I keep on coming back to Cyprus , and this is my first time to stay in this hotel. It’s a nice hotel but the climb from the beach is a little bit tiring. I waart there in January and there were few guests. They serve Breakfast in a very big portion and tasty as well. I would recommend the hotel because of cleanliness .

The bathroom decoration is rough, the sanitary ware is old, the sewer leaked twice, there is no small refrigerator, the breakfast is good, and the service is okay

The room was gorgeous and was the biggest bed I have ever seen and the pillows were so comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The air con worked so well and kept us cool the whole time we were in our room even despite the extreme temperatures. The pool was also lovely and was manned by a lifeguard the whole time who was also very friendly and funny. The breakfast that was included was also very tasty.

Before I describe the hotel in detail, I must say a huge thank you to the hotel staff at the Nereus (the locals I heard pronounced it nair-ray-oos with the stress on the last syllable). My husband had had a nasty fall before we flew out and I became concerned about him during our stay. Joanna, in particular, went out of her way to help us find medical help and let her colleagues know about us. In fact, all the staff there are attentive, helpful and friendly. Nereus hotel is set back from the road, a short 5-10 minute walk to the seafront. It's uphill on the way back, but the hill isn't very steep so shouldn't present a problem to most people. The hotel has a lift, so you don't have to carry heavy bags up the stairs. We stayed in Room 120, which didn't have a great view (over a lot of roofing), but we were on a cheap package which might account for it. The room itself was very clean, although there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The bed was massive - wider than kingsize - and extremely comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and a duvet. The room is furnished with a table and chair, a wardrobe with about 8 hangers and two full-size drawers, two bedside cabinets and bedside lights, and a dressing table (the drawer contained a hairdryer) and chair. The air-conditioning/heater and the TV both had working remotes, but you need to close the balcony door or the air-conditioning doesn't come on. Wifi was good. There was plenty of storage space in the en suite bathroom, dispensers for soap, and a bath with a shower attachment. Plenty of towels that were changed as often as you wanted. Outside on the balcony, there was a table and two chairs (no outside light), but when my husband sat on a chair it slid backwards and he ended up on the floor. So be careful when you sit and make sure that the chair-back is against the wall to prevent it sliding. Breakfast was excellent for a 3-star hotel. Muesli and two kinds of flakes; mini croissants, pain au raisins and au chocolat; ham and cheese, etc; fried and scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, etc, fried mixed veg (very tasty); toast... Juice, water and coffee comes from machines. Decaff and plant milk wasn't put out so I had to ask for it, but after the first day the staff remembered my request and it was forthcoming often without asking. We stayed for a week in late April and the pool was warm enough to swim in. it's about 5ft deep and doesn't have a shallow end. The children's pool and the jacuzzi are either side of the stepped pool entrance and sectioned off. The attendant voluntarily asked me if I wanted a towel, which is lovely and fluffy and free of charge. Plenty of sunbeds and outside seating. We stayed bed and breakfast, which was all the hotel was doing at that time of year. Few people seemed to be using the bar in the evening - a shame as there was a lovely lady with a big personality serving us. It was low season so also no evening entertainment, but we'd always be in the restaura

What a fabulous, welcoming hotel. We had a weeks stay here and wouldn’t think twice about returning. All the staff were amazing especially ( crazy) Tracy who runs the well stocked hotel bar and definitely kept us entertained. Hanni who is in charge of the hotel was always around whatever time of day and always welcomed us by name. The hotel is in a great position within easy reach of the harbour, restaurants and bars. All walkable. Breakfast is very good. Something for everyone. Everything is really fresh, small amounts out and constantly replenished. Full English, fruit, yogurt, cold meat and cheeses, pastries and cereals. Even a toast machine that really toasts your bread! Good coffee and juices too. Our room was great. The bed was so comfortable and lovely fresh, white linen that felt brand new. Towels that were thick and fluffy and actually covered your whole body unlike some other hotels we have stayed at. Full size fridge, air con and hairdryer also supplied. Our room was cleaned everyday and smelled beautiful. This might be a 3 star hotel but it gives a 5 star welcome to all its guests.

This is a well located small hotel, which offers excellent value for money. The rooms are modern and have a comfortable bed. Air con is free but the fridge and safe cost an additional amount. There is basic housekeeping each day for change of towels and the beds being made. As other reviews have said, cleaning isn’t the best, but the rooms aren’t dirty. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a basic English style breakfast. Unfortunately, not everything is available each day ( eg bacon, fresh fruit or butter) and things run out quickly during busy times, although they are replenished. Given the price, it’s a good option for Paphos.

Loved this hotel, the people are fantastic - friendly and helpful. The room was huge, with a massive comfortable bed, and spotlessly clean. The en-suite was a good size with a decent shower. The room had a fridge, kettle, air con, small table and chairs, TV and a balcony. Breakfast was great. For the price, this hotel is exceptional value, I would definitely stay again.

It’s a really good place to stay in Paphos - great location, tasty breakfasts, very clean rooms and extremely nice hotel staff. Pool area is small but very charming. It’s also a great place to stay if you want to work remotely.

Let's start at the beginning. What a fantastic gem of a hotel this is. From the minute we stepped out of the taxi we were greeted with smiles by all the staff. We traveled with two mobility scooters from the UK and the hotel is totally disabled friendly. Ramps into the hotel and main doors opened straight away so you can just drive straight in. The lift isn't big enough to take scooter upto room but you would get a wheelchair in the lift no problem. We felt safe leaving the scooters in the lobby where reception can see them at all times. The rooms are spacious and plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair around if need be. Bed is large and beautiful clean white sheets and towels are changed regularly. There's a kettle with tea coffee etc and just ask at reception if more milk or anything is needed they are more than happy to help. Balcony is compact with 2 chairs and a table but what more do you need the room only sleeps 2 people. There's even a hairdryer in the drawer. We came out of season so there were a couple of things needed looking at but within minutes of us reporting the problem they were fixed. Breakfast is served 7.30am to 10am in the large dining room with plenty of seating and tables even in the height of summer there won't be a problem getting a table. Your greeted every morning by smiling staff all very happy to help you. There buffet breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hotel in a long time. It's not huge like the 5* hotels but still plenty of choice. They put out small quantities at a time so the cooked food is not sitting under the lights drying out. The hotel had more rooms occupied at the weekend and they still managed a good food ratio so no one was waiting for it to be topped up. The poor chef must walk miles just topping up the fresh fried eggs. The buffet caters for meat eaters and vegetarians. Even the toaster is set to the right setting making it evenly toasted. I've been to other hotels and it takes ages to work it's way through and it's still not toasted. The coffee machine has plenty of choices and a array of flavoured teabags. The staff clear your plates very efficiently making sure you have finished not just presuming you have finished, when you have just gone for fresh orange. The pool was empty at the time of our visit but it looks a lovely pool and where it is would be a sun trap. There is a bar area where we played cards at night during the summer it would be manned but because the season hasn't started mike the receptionist was more than happy to serve us drinks in the evening. The hotel is in a perfect location for getting to the harbour where all the restaurants are. If you want a hotel that is in a good location very friendly staff that bend over backwards to make your holiday perfect. Then don't hesitate to book here you won't regret it.

Very nice stay. Great pool. Bar has cheap drinks and the Bartender Daniel is a great Lad. Didn’t enjoy the little ants in our room. They bite for no reason in your sleep. Should have said good night and don’t let the ants bite you. Breakfast was nice and did change day to day. Close to the bus station and the sea.
