The apar**ent was adequate. It was clean and comfortable. Two ring hob was next to useless - it the ring was on, so was the oven! No instructions available as to its use. No instruction for tv either. Property is very close to restaurants etc.

we went just got back on the 9th of may and stayed at kefalonitis initially we were supposed to stop at hill top and after reading some of the reviews were abit worried about coming. on arrival we were met by Ted who was lovely all of our holiday the room was basic but defiantly not like what some people are saying. pool was good and bar staff friend Lilly and Demetrius and prices were very reasonable. location was really good bars and restaurants on your doorstep and 2 minute walk from MacDonalds. 25 min walk to the harbour but taxi are only 8 euro. we met some lovely people who were also meant to stop at hill top but jet 2 changed our hotel last minjute all in all was a very good holiday and decent accomadations. thanks guys

Management rude and place run down The rooms are basic The bathrooms have been refurbished but the standard of refurbishment is poor No towel rails Apart from 1 under the sink The water does not run away down the shower and the bar at the entrance to the shower is supposed to be used on a carpet I think mr O'Reilly from fawtly towers would have done a better job All the pathways are dirty and require a jet wash We went to breakfast and the only option for eggs was fried! No scrambled or poached options (not too much to ask surely?) Towels are only exchanged every 3 days! Only 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe for 2 of us! The final straw was on the last day I checked out, and I handed the key to the mobility scooter that I hired to the manager He was very abrupt and said that I had to leave it outside as I am leaving the hotel and he didn't want it on his premises The mobility scooter company telephoned and he point blank refused to even talk to term! Saying not my problem Well I have to say this is without doubt the worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune to encounter! Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere

The second time here and the apar**ents were lovely, very clean close to bars restaurants and the bus station, the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, going back in September and looking forward to the trip.

Stayed for one week, end of season, basic accommodation with nice pool, quiet bar & food area in a great location. Enjoyed newly created coastal boardwalk extending from Venus Beach to the harbour, with beach bar to enjoy the sunsets. We picked up the boardwalk from the nearby Elysium Hotel, 40 mins walk to harbour. Enjoyed O’Neils bar (great service & *****ni cocktails) Fat Mama’s (huge portions & entertainment) Karlinas (lovely authentic food & staff) Martelli’s & last night delicious evening meal at Duomo. Loved the fun & entertainment on offer at the Damon hotel apar**ents (can call in & pay for drinks at poolside bar if not staying) and same at Kefalos Beach village. We apparently missed the some great nights at Pitstop, recommended by other tourists, will try next time. Best wishes to Ted, the night porter for good late night chats! Would stay at same venue again.

First time to Kefalonitis Hotel Apar**ents, in fact to Cyprus, and we were a bit apprehensive after reading the mixed reviews. Following a late night arrival, we were greeted by Ted, who quickly checked us in and then showed us to our rooms, carrying one of the heaviest cases up to the first floor apar**ent, before showing us how everything worked and leaving to show the rest of our party to their room in another block, but before he left, he said the bar was open if we wanted a drink (nearly 1am now). We left our cases in the apar**ent, and went back downstairs and around the pool to the bar, where Ted returned a few minutes later, and the rest of our party joined us shortly after. Fantastic start, and that is how the rest of the holiday went. The hotel is (in our opinion) in a great location - close to numerous bars and restaurants, and within 15-20 minutes walking distance to supermarkets, shopping centre, Tombs of the Kings and the harbour. We had no issues with any of the staff, Lilli manning the bar during the day, Dimitris during the evening, and Ted taking the graveyard shift (his wife also did a few stints in the bar as well). The owner Nicos was always polite, yet I can see why people may have felt he was arrogant as he kept himself to himself, but if you make the effort to acknowledge and speak to him, he always responded politely. His wife always greeted us with a smile, and took time to speak to us every time we went out or came back. Travelled with Jet2, and Cheryl the rep always walked around, giving ample opportunity for holidaymakers to talk to her, and was wonderful when our 7 month old grandson fell off the bed and we needed to get him to a hospital to be checked over. Every time she came to the hotel, she would come and find us to see how he was. Nicos and his wife also asked about him every time we met them, and asked if there was anything could do to help. We also had a couple of young lads that thought it was funny knocking on doors and running away, whilst their parents went for drinks outside of the hotel. When this was reported to Nicos, he said he had been accused of being rude when he had tried to bring it to the attention of the parents, so I spoke to Cheryl, who in turn brought it to Maria's (Nicos's daughter) attention, and appropriate action was taken (threats of being kicked out). A pity some think it is ok for young lads to be left to do what they want. at the expense of others. The only downside of the accommodation was the usual around the pool these days - the reservation of sunbeds early in the morning and then being left unused until mid afternoon, and the number of people playing ball games in the pool (without regard for others using the pool, including young children and babies). Although there were signs around the pool indicating this was not allowed, it was not enforced. Overall, you get what you pay for, yet we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at the Kefalonitis, and would definitely go back.

Stayed here for a week, spacious room, comfy beds. Good wifi, clean, helpful staff, Great view of the sea from our balcony. Good position off the main road but near to most needed things. Good bus route, close to the airport. Blackout curtains so we wasn't woke by the lovely sunshine we had.

Another great holiday in Paphos staying at the Kefalonitis Hotel Appar**ents, our 4th time. Located within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants and bars, Laterna, Vasileon 31 & Karlinas (best mousaka ever) to name a few. Greeted by the wonderful Ted, he is such a sweetheart. I had to wait a day to see my favourite person, Ted's lovely wife Helen. They are so welcoming & friendly & have become great friends to us. Was nice to catch up with people we've made friends with over the years staying there too. All the staff are fantastic & a credit to Nikos, the owner. All friendly & helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Whilst not a 5 star this place is great clean & tidy & clearly upgrades are on going as our apt had a shiney new bathroom, looks great! Rooms are cleaned daily, towels sheets etc., except Wednesday & Sundays. Apts are stocked with all you need should you wish to cook, shudder, not what I go on me hols to do, ha ha! New sunbeds this year and some are slightly higher, good for those of us with a dodgey back. A new addition this year was a Life Guard, he was in attendance every day at the pool, this is a good thing & he performed his duties admirably. So thank you Nikos & all at the Kefalonitis, another great experience which will keep us coming back year after year.

Good value for money apar**ents, very clean spacious room & well equipped. A bit dated & worn but that didn’t bother us. Nice outdoor pool with a lot of sun beds - no fighting for beds in the morning. Close to shops & restaurants, but they are on the side of a dual carriageway! Most people didn’t seem to mind but the harbour is only about a 20 minute walk away, which is a much more pleasant area to eat & drink. The main bar street is also quite close to the harbour. There is a beach area about 10 minutes away, or you can take a bus to Coral Bay. Also, Tomb of the Kings is just about a 10 minute walk away. All in all, not a bad place.
