Helios Bay Hotel and Suites

Amazing place with exceptional services. Personally I'd recommend everyone to try their breakfast :)

We stayed 10 to 14 of May, 2024. We are a couple, 65 years. Here are our impressions of this lovely stay: The staff was very friendly and helpful in any and every aspect. The hotel is quiet, friendly and accessible. We had a room and a living-room, with a side view of the sea: it was just perfect. The location of the hotel is 8 min drive to Paphos, and close to main hiking attractions which we visited. It is perfect for those who shy away from the loud shiny hotels with bars and a singer and mid night activities. The sea shore is 2 min away with a nice shore, where we were most of time by ourselves. There's a 1 hour each direction promenade just in front of the hotel, perfect for a morning walk/jogging, which we did. Breakfast is perfect: eggs, fresh vegetables, toasts, local spreads, fruit, cereat and all. I would improve the coffee, yet I think that is the Greek liking. Generally, the breakfast balcony has a fantastic view to the sea, it is rich and tasty, and we loved it. The owner is most of the time at the hotel - the guy solves any issue on the spot. We'll come back!

Helios Bay hotel is a quality five star hotel in three star shoes. It is a simple clean,comfortable and compact family run hotel. You are treated as an individual guest and not just as a tourist. Comfortable beds, very adequate kitchen and excellent housemaids. You can watch the most wonderful sunsets whist sitting at the poolside bar. Buses outside the hotel to visit Paphos Town or Coral Bay. Local tavernas and pubs very nearby. If you want all the frills go five star or go to the Helio Bay for five star friendliness, cleanliness and happiness.

Wonderful stay here. Everything you want in a beautiful, reasonably priced hotel. Stayed in a sea facing room, well equipped & clean. Recommended. Pool bar serves lovely cocktails at a good price. Recommended Clusters bar also just up the road for great food!

Very nice! The beach is so close with a beautiful view from the hotel. Me and my family got a room right opposite the sea! The view from the patio outside to room facing the sea was absolutely gorgeous. The staff are very kind. Around the pool is lovely it’s not even noisy, the perfect place to relax without shouting and other noises. However around the pool there isn’t a lifeguard so if your kids cannot swim very well don’t let them go in on their own even if you tell them not to go to the deep end as it is about 2.5m and could sometimes be dangerous for kids who can’t swim well especially when there isn’t a lifeguard.

This was our 2nd stay at Helios Bay Apar**ents, first stayed in September last year. This time we booked direct with Nicos, everything was easy. He even arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport on our arrival. Our apar**ent was 313, up a couple of flights of stairs, no problem for us but they can offer help if you need it with your cases. No lifts. Our one bedroom apar**ent was spacious and had everything that we needed to self cater. 2 halogen rings and an oven, no microwave. Good fridge, toaster, kettle, remember to bring tea towels, washing up liquid supplied. Towels changed regularly. The cleaners do a fantastic job, kept our apar**ent clean and tidy and always friendly. Our bedroom was a double bed that was lovely and comfortable, extra blankets in the large bedroom. Plenty of storage space, safe in the wardrobe. The balcony has a table and two chairs plus a clothes airer, which was very useful to dry our washing on. The laundry facilities are very reasonable, €4 for a wash. Quite quiet when we were there, end of March into April. We had breakfast there on our first morning, €7.50 which included hot and cold selection. The pool restaurant was not open whilst we were there, which was a disappoin**ent as the food that we had there in September was fantastic. Understandable as it wasn’t busy, we were informed that they open it in late April when they get more clients. A Restaurant has just opened next door and was attracting a bit of interest. The Horizon Pub is also a great place to eat and only a couple of hundred metres away. A nearby shop has basic items, Lidl is a short bus ride away. The bus stop is across the road from the Helios. Taxi also arranged with Nicos for our return to the airport. A family business, which is lovely. We will definitely return.

Great Aparthotel! We stayed in 2 bed villa, perfect for us, going with a teenager we all needed space and own bedrooms. Lovely clean, well equipped. The hotel were so helpful and really added to our stay. Lots of local places to eat, Siennas was lovely. waterpark down the road with half price entry after 2:30. Buses run frequently, we hired a car for a few days. Easy holiday , I would go back without a doubt.

Fabulous hotel. Nice and quiet just on the outskirts of paphos. No evening entertainment which suits us 👍 Very clean and friendly staff,especially our cleaner (room 105) we stayed on the one bedroom apar**ent which had all the amenities you need. We were very lucky with the weather so spent most days by the pool. The pool area is clean and beds super comfy with the mattress . If we can get a deal then we hope to be back in June 👍
