Nice hotel with very big rooms and sea view from all of them. Nothing special Huge territory for sunbathing, so you always able to find the place Breakfast is ok

Booked for my husband to join family watching son/nephew playing rugby for Cyprus

We booked the hotel through Opodo for a weekend break from our home in North Cyprus. Unfortunately a couple of days before the trip I was told by my doctor that I shouldn’t travel due to severe pain. I contacted Opodo to change the dates but was informed that I needed to speak with the hotel. They stated that the hotel would need to email me an ‘exception’ agreeing that I could change the dates with no charge because I was within the cancellation window in the booking. When I called the hotel I was told that I would need to speak to the Reservations Manager the following day as he had gone home and I duly did so. The following day I got through to his secretary who said he was busy. She said he would call back shortly. I called back about 3 hours later and got his secretary again, however this time she asked why I needed to speak with him. I explained the issue and she stated that Opodo would need to email them, during the whole conversation she would not let me speak and talked over me until in the end I gave up listening and asked to speak with the Reservation Manager. She then, clearly, spoke with him in Greek and he began shouting. I couldn’t understand what was said but it was clear that he was not happy. She then regurgitated that I needed to speak with Opodo. I tried to reason with the secretary but she was sharp and not interested in my telling her what Opodo had instructed me to do. I then said to her “Is this because of where I live?” Her response was a very firm “YES!” I hung up the telephone and I have complained to Opodo.
