Lovely hotel a 10 minute walk to The Liston and buzz of Corfu old town. Large rooms with verandah and sea views...Beautiful meticulous gardens and large pool. Food and beverages good and a delivered by a friendly staff. Most enjoyable stay- and great savings booked via Trip.com

From the moment you arrive into the foyer, you instantly see the warmth and friendliness of the staff who check you in. This goes right the way through with everyone working in the hotel so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are very well presented suiting all tastes, the pool and the deckchairs offer a very well kept area with plenty of room and of course the pool bar serving drinks and light snacks with an ordering app by your deckchair you don’t have to move to get your food and drinks brought to you, or you can just sit up at the tables round the bar. There is a lifeguard on duty at the pool from opening till closing time. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and kept clean to a very high standard and of course you have a selection of options on the type of room you can book, and all rooms have air conditioning. There is plenty of entertainment on offer in the evenings too numerous to mention , but the Greek Barbecue nights are just amazing! There are many wonderful attributes to this fantastic hotel … but without shadow of a doubt what keeps us coming back year after year is the staff … they will forever have a special place in our hearts. They make us feel as if we are coming home …

The view from the room to the sea is stunning and we absolutely loved the balcony. The location is good, at the seafront with just a short 5 minutes walk to the old town. The room is clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is good and quite ample. Cleaning was of good quality and cleaning ladies were polite. But we don’t see how this would be a 5 star hotel as this seems more like a 4 star hotel. RESTAURANT: Most of the restaurant staff during breakfast and dinner were quite ignorant, only the older gentleman with grey hair was very attentive and gave 5-star level service. Other waiters forgot to bring us coffee completely during breakfast and after waiting for 30 minutes in vain we had to re-order it. The quality of dinner in the restaurant was okay, but didn’t quite correspond to our expectations in a 5 star establishment. Service was as unenthusiastic during dinner as during breakfast. RECEPTION: Only the woman at the reception is attentive, but other receptionists give quite mediocre and unenthusiastic service that is not quite 5 star level. Nobody is rude by any means, just a bit inattentive. ROOM: There was no personalized welcome gift in our room on arrival, as there should be in a 5 star hotel. There was no coffeemaker in the room. The room is quite cold and the heating doesn’t seem to work very well. During some rainy, cold spring days this was a bit inconvenient. The air conditioning on the other hand works well, which is great if you visit during hot summer days. WI-FI: The wi-fi wasn’t working very well in rooms during our stay, but it was extremely slow. We complained about it, but the receptionist man didn’t do anything about the issue to for a whole two days. He promised the problem will be solved during the next day, but nothing happened. The day after that, when we called the reception again, he promised to bring an extra modem swiftly, but nothing happened for two hours and only the receptionist woman finally brought it to us when we walked downstairs to the reception ourselves. SWIMMING POOL: The outdoor swimming pool was pleasant and we enjoyed our time by the pool. Unfortunately, it was closed already at 17.00, even though in April the weather was warm and sun was shining longer than that. It would have been nice to keep the pool open until 19.00. Thank goodness, starting from the 1st of May, they prolong the opening hours until 18.00. The pool had a lot of small tree branches, because it wasn’t cleaned daily. It would’ve been so easy to sweep them away first thing in the morning. Other than this, the hygiene and cleanliness level of the pool was good. There is also no gym or indoor pool area in a supposedly 5 star hotel. VIOLATING DO NOT DISTURB: One day we were inside the room, when the hotel phone rang. We just missed answering it when someone hung up. Soon after this, some member of the staff, a man entered the room with his own key, even though we had a Do not disturb-sign on the door. What can I say...another wonderful holiday in this magnificent hotel 30+ years and counting I have returned to this hotel and hope to do so for many years to come. An oasis of calm that never fails to impress. Staff amazing, views spectacular, service 2nd to none all of this within a 10 minute walk of the stunning town, a Unesco Heritage site. If you're looking for understated luxury, an amazing experience, wonderful genuine hospitality then look no further, book the Corfu Palace. Without a doubt the best Hotel on Corfu. What are the chances of finding a perfect, tranquil setting within easy walking distance of a colourful, bustling tourist centre with heaps of history? For it to be a hotel with an exotic panoramic view from your room across the marina, having the most luxurious breakfast, being treated by the staff as if you are their most important guest, and probably the finest swimming pool setting in Corfu, is exactly what we hoped for. Thank you Corfu Palace for a fantastic holiday.

From the moment we pulled up to this hotel, we could see the location was just perfect - central with stunning views across the bay. Could see the old Fortress from our balcony too. Staff couldnt do enough for us - helped us out with car hire, restaurant advice etc..very very nice atmosphere. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice and the outdoor eating area was superb - Loved it all x

Location and ambiance of the stately hotel are unparalleled. The staff is well trained and accommodating. The rooms are very good with beautiful balconies. Great retreat for travelers. The poolside and outdoor dining is lovely and the orange juice machine is one of a kind

Me and my friend recently stayed here for a week after finding it for a good price, we were really looked after by the staff especially Kostas, the room was lovely and even had a nice little balcony, the bed was really comfy and there was always something to do and good entertainment in the evening! Will defo come back!
