Inizio la mia recensione con la premessa che stra consiglio questo Hotel. Hotel pulitissimo e curato in ogni dove. Vicinissimo al centro e navetta per la spiaggia. Colazione continentale dal dolce al salato, cena eccellente, chef davvero in gamba. Personale super disponibile e gentile, dalla reception (grazie di cuore a Benito ) ai ragazzi/e della sala colazioni e cena ( grazie Francesco di tutto), ai ragazzi del bar della piscina... Disponibilissimi. Siamo stati divinamente. Consiglio il giro in barca a vela della Costa degli Dei... Super ! Concludo ribadendo il consiglio di alloggiare al Tropis. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff. I Love Tropea

Ottima la location con ampia gamma di servizi curatissimi (transfer, lido, etc.) e con ampio e comodo parcheggio (a Tropea è un punto di forza). Strategica la posizione a due passi dalla Stazione e dal centro. Pulizia e gentilezza al top da parte di tutto il personale. Ottima la colazione e la cucina. Dotato di area spa e wellness, con tante promozioni giornaliere. Rapporto qualità prezzo altrettanto positivo. In poche parole torneremo e lo consigliamo.

Struttura bella e molto pulita,però due piccole ma grandi osservazioni del perché poi ci lamentiamo che in Calabria non viene nessuno,tassa di soggiorno in tutta Italia e europa 2 euro a persona,da voi 4 euro ridicolo,punto due un hotel a 4 stelle non può fare pagare una bottiglia d'acqua in camera 2 euro ,ma bensì deve offrirla di default ,per il resto nulla da dire.

Siamo stati dal 1 Maggio al 6 Maggio mattina presso la vostra ottima struttura. Ineccepibili dal punto di vista umano e professionale Benito, Silvia e tutti i componenti dello staff senza dimenticare il cameriere Francesco. This modern hotel is in a great location up the hill from the old town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very well kept hotel and very clean. A lovely pool with loads of seating around plus lovely gardens to sit and contemplate. The train station is just yards from the hotel for easy access to other towns in Calabria such as Reggio which is worth a visit.

Please stay away from this fake 4 stars hotel.
I’ve been around the world in many hotels and this is not a 4 star hotel.. only the room price is comparable to a 4 star hotel.
To begin with it no one helped me to get to my room or understand where the amenities were or how the hotel works, but this was the last of the problems.
Me and my wife stayed there luckily only one night, I say only because there is no space for 2 luggages in the room and we would have not been able to spend more time here.
The 2 single mattresses pushed together are the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on and we were even feeling the springs in out back. No extra pillows are provided in case you want to read a book or watch the tv.
To use towels outside the room in case you need one for the pool you will need to pay a rental fee of 3.50 euro.. again this is a 4 star hotel.
The minibar is empty and you need to call concierge to have it filled up.. never seen this to a 4 star hotel.
I’m a small person 5’7” tall and 150lb and I could not fit in the shower.. I’m not exaggerating, I was not able to wash myself without hitting everything.
There are no slippers to walk inside the room (not essential but important for a 4 star hotel)
The bidet drain was broken and when I tried to use it got filled with water and was in the middle of the night.

I highly recommend the Tropis Hotel. This was the first trip to Calabria, the birthplace of my grandparents, for our three teenagers and we wanted it to be memorable. The hotel location was convenient; a quick walk to the centro Tropea main piazza and fabulous restaurants, a 15 minute walk to the marina and guests are provided a complimentary shuttle service to the beach - no need for a car. All the staff were incredible! Benito was super informative and responsive to all our requests from booking our rooms to helping coordinate activities. After an incredible day at the beach or boating on the Costa de Dei, Domenico was always waiting poolside with a spritz or espresso. The rooms were spacious - the three kids in one room and my wife and I in our own and the air conditioning was great (unlike when we were in Rome). The morning breakfasts were perfect and offered a nice variety - of course I craved starting the day with an authentic Cafe americano...or two ;) Thank you again Tropis Hotel for helping make our trip to Tropea truly special and unforgettable!
