"We recently stayed here for a week and felt like we had discovered a little gem. The location is perfect as it is close to the centre of town and to the beach. Our room was clean and cool and the bed was superb - we slept so well. The rooms are cleaned beautifully each day. The breakfasts were good and offered a lot of choice and all the staff (breakfast, reception and cleaning) were all absolutely amazing - so helpful. We were sorry to leave and will hopefully return one day. "

"From the moment you are greeted by the friendly reception desk, prepare for a truly enjoyable and memorable vacation at the Rocca Nettuno resort. The rooms, gardens and facilities are recently renovated and kept in immaculate condition and are stunningly beautiful! The private beach with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas is situated right in front of a separate beach bar and restaurant, which makes it convenient to spend your day there without wanting for anything. The water is so clear that on calm days you would swear it was glass. The pool area is well organized, with separate areas of loungers if you prefer some quiet time during the day. Every year we visit (this was our third), the food experience gets better and better, with an incredible variety of foods prepared by chefs that results in what feels like a truly elevated experience over many other resorts. The seafood in particular is outstanding. You will never forget the sunsets from your dining table each and every night! A very special thanks to Giovanni and Antonella for the warm welcome and your exceptional service throughout our stay. You have become very good friends to us over the years. Pasquale, Pascal, Franceso and Michaele in the dining area are the consummate professionals and I cannot forget to thank Guiseppe who made us the best lattes in the morning! Lastly, thank you Emma for ensuring our room was spotless and well supplied throughout our stay and for always being so friendly to us! Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo, amici miei. "This hotel was a perfect stay for our family from the US. A perfect location walking distance to the beach ( 2 min walk) , the main plaza of Tropea (10 min walk up the stairs on the cliff) and the marina ( 5 min walk). The service was incredible from the manager, front desk, bar/cafe, and housekeeping.. all such a pleasure! The rooms are new and spotless and a breath of fresh air after traveling all over Italy for a few weeks. We also enjoyed the pool and the complimentary shuttle to the Blanca Beach club. The front desk can also assist you in booking a boat excursion for the day at the Marina. Highly recommend this hotel!!! Our stay in Tropea was the highlight of our entire Italy trip."

It is recommended that it allows you to reach the beach in very little while at the same time, the typical restaurants and fish are under the house at night. We will return."

"Room # 104. Room is very basic. The bathroom is old and needs to be modernised. The shower head is broken. I told reception twice during my stay and it had not been fixed when I checked out 3 nights later. the first day and still by the last day it had not been fixed. For a large bathroom, it has a tiny shower. Location wise, it is good but other than that, I would not recommend this B&B. I'm sure the owners will respond to this message apologising and yes, It should have been fixed before I had checked in and hopefully they will have it fixed before the next guest but I doubt it. B&B management is responsible for ensuring all amenities and facilities in the room are in good working order. They have failed with room 104."

"We had the most wonderful time staying at Rocca della Sena. The view from the terrace was incredible and was such a lovely place to be able to sit during sunset. Breakfast was very good and there were lots of options to choose from, including fresh nduja which is local to the area. The staff were probably the best part of the stay, though. They were so kind and generous with their time, always asking if they could provide recommendations for dinner or activities in the area, and made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tropea. We honestly have no negative feedback to provide!"

"We loved this hotel. Reception is knowledgeable and helpful. I loved the clean white and modern rooms (the only thing missing was a proper espresso maker which I found standard in all other hotel rooms in Italy). Cleaning did a wonderful job. We thought the breakfast and serving staff was kind and prompt. The pool is incredible. Comfortable chairs, the pool is the perfect temperature on a hot summer day. Drinks were delicious. The gym has everything one would need and overlooks the sea. Transport to town needs to be pre scheduled and was always ready and waiting for us. Getting back was a little tougher but manageable after we figured it out. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Definitely recommend this location. It does advertise Breakfast included in some places but this is wrong. There is a kettle and small fridge. Room 3 is a very nice room as shown in many of the pictures as it’s on the first floor on the corner. Good bathroom and bed. This is generally an in attended location and you are met at an agreed time to give access etc. Nice gardens and views and easy walking distance to the town centre in 10 minutes. Would recommend."
