Hôtel Neptune Place d'Italie Reviews

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Unfortunately the staff does not speak English (with the exception of a boy at the reception who speaks it with some difficulty); the breakfast, which they charge 8 euros per person per day, is quite disappointing (a croissant, half a baguette, butter and jam, tea or coffee of your choice); the bathroom in the room is very small and the towels were only changed on the first day (obviously after 2 days we also ran out of shower gel and had to use a bar of soap); there was no hairdryer and they didn't even have one at the reception, we had to buy a new one (54 euros!!) at the nearby Carrefour; the walls are so thin that you can really hear everything (in the morning you can hear footsteps, voices, the constant noise of keys opening the locks on the doors). The only positive thing is the location: the area is well connected as there is the Place d'Italie metro stop (with 3 lines) and other bus stops, it is full of bistros and cafes, and there is also no shortage of supermarkets (for every need). Honestly, I don't know if I'm convinced by the quality/price ratio.
