The sanitation is good, and the breakfast is in the basement. It is indeed close to the city center. The room is small, really small, because it is newly renovated and well maintained, there is no smell. The surrounding area is relatively safe, and I have never encountered any thieves. There is a fruit stand at the intersection, and District 1 is very downtown.

Nothing like the photos. Lift was not working.
Tired furniture, carpets.
Tiny rooms.
Card holder for turning on electricity in room was held together by sellotape

A fantastically located hotel - just three minutes walk from Chatalet - Les Halles - giving you easy access to the airport; Disneyland; and all rest of Paris via the Metro. The Louvre is just a few minutes more. The hotel staff were super helpful too. Although the rooms were small (ish) and slightly dated, the hotel is amazing value for money. I hope too return soon.

I liked the staff, and the position, there was a fridge and a kettle.
it was difficult to work the shower, but help came.
