Facilities: Average Hygiene: Not bad Environment: Not bad Service: This is the key point! First of all, the reception at the front desk is super five-star. When checking out, they actively asked if they needed a taxi. The speed was very fast. The lost items were in the car. The driver drove around the airport and waited there. Ten thousand likes

Amazing service from checking in at midnight with Pierre at the front desk to and through all the staff, especially Saber every morning at the wonderful breakfast buffet. Made us feel like a VIP even though we were just another couple who booked a vacation package via Costco :-) First off - not a bed bug in site if you're nervous about that. Spotless everywhere. Great location as others have noted by the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe and a quick cab ride (which they quickly got for us upon request) to the Louvre. It's a really strong 4 stars, and that is because the Palazzo Ripetta in Rome was the 5 star hotel of the trip due to the room, which was amazing. Baltimore's was totally fine and had a great walk-out balcony, but it was tiny, so be aware of that. Like, the TV was too big to get into the bathroom tiny. :-)

We stayed for two nights at Sofitel, in a Junior Suite. After checking in and going to our room, we were thrown off a little by the fact that the toilet was in a different 'room' to the bathroom itself, and after speaking with Naomi (who handled this graciously), we came to terms with this and it was only a slight inconvenience overall. The room itself is well appointed, with all the extras you require, and my husband even called in for a memory foam pillow which was provided right away. Not all hotels do this and so this was useful for someone who typically only uses memory foam pillows. The bathroom is very generous in size, and the shower pressure was probably the best i've experienced at a hotel - a perfect way to start the day. On our first day, while waiting for our room to be ready, we enjoyed a delicious and light lunch at les cocottes. Breakfast here was equally delicious. It was not extensive, but had everything we needed which was of a high quality, with the option of ordering hot food such as eggs (though the porridge was not cooked and very disappointing - the only negative experience). The staff at the hotel are all amazing. From the checking-in staff to concierge, to the doorman who would kindly greet you outside your taxi with a ready umbrella to shelter from the rain. The restaurant staff were also all great, but Milan (i hope i spelt that correctly) was exceptional. Probably the best staff we have come across - finding the perfect balance between being affable, warm and professional without overbearing. He was acutely aware of the details and refused to serve me an omelette which was not quite right, and noticed the issue with the porridge without us saying anything. Thank you for a great stay Sofitel, we hope to be back.

Amazing hotel with exceptional service. location is alright, about 10mins walk to concord metro. very quite street right next to the American embassy. the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I got a cake, champagne and small gift from the hotel since it was my bday. They made us feel very special. I would highly recommend this hotel.
