The Blennerhassett Hotel

Perfect getaway with my bestie! The hotel is gorgeous and you can tell the owners really care about the hotel and its appearance. The attention to detail is marvelous. It is reminiscent of a luxurious 1920s hotel. Think old Hollywood charm, but with all modern amenities. Free and ample parking. I stay exclusively in the Blennerhassett hotel when visiting Parkersburg. We called down to the restaurant to have brunch delivered to the room and also had dinner on the patio while a bluegrass band played. The food was hit or miss but the service was excellent and prices reasonable. Scott was our waiter and he was incredibly charming. Very sweet and made us laugh. This hotel rivals Omni hotels I have stayed in that are 3x the price. The gift shop has a self checkout option which was perfect for grabbing a last minute souvenir. The room and linens were so clean and cozy and the robes so luxurious that we decided to forego our morning plans to lounge around in the room. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel and have already booked my next stay when I’ll be attending the Blennerhassett by candlelight event. There are also tons of events hosted by the hotel. I intend to bring my girlfriends and my mama to the womens getaway weekend in April. The hotel is more than accommodations when visiting, it’s worth traveling just to visit the hotel. 10/10

This hotel is fantastic! Every person we talked to were pleasant and nice to talk to , can’t say enough nice things to say . The location is very easy to get to but there is little to do around the hotel in the downtown neighborhood. There’s a reason you have a terrific restaurant and bar , not to mention the speakeasy. The only disappointment was we didn’t see one of the 13 ghosts . Hope to stay there again

I surprised my husband with a weekend trip to the Blennerhassett Hotel and we went to the Blennerhassett Island Mansion by Candlelight event. We also visited the Historical District, Museums, Winetree Vineyards, and Fort Boreman. Everything was amazing! The Blennerhassett Hotel is beautiful and like stepping back in time. Loved the Speak Easy. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was smooth. The outside areas of the hotel were decorated beautifully. The food was good but we did have to wait an hour to be served. I think they have a few problems with the kitchen help maybe. Our servers both days were excellent though. We will definitely be going again and we highly recommend the Blennerhassett Hotel.

The 24/7 gift shop and snack bar was great. The bed was comfortable and checking in was quick and easy since I did ahead of time. The parking lot is easy to get to and walk to. The only thing I wish they had was a mini fridge to keep my leftovers from when we went out to eat. I do recommend the resteraunt. The food was amazing and worth every penny. They even brought us a rose for our anniversary! We got the blennerhassett package which gave us passes to all the sites! I loved it. My husband and I had a great time.

Wonderful historic hotel with the absolute best people running it. From the lovely decor (garden patio is beautiful), the delicious food from the restaurant and the well appointed comfortable rooms, this place is wonderful. Lee, Adam and Shelby treated us like family. The bellman was just coming on shift when we arrived and could have just walked in to the hotel. Instead he came over to our car in the parking lot and helped with our bags. I can’t say enough about this charming place. I would definitely come back and next time take advantage of the spa services.
