This hotel is grand in scale but not grand in style. It is a very good functional ski hotel. Excellent food, excellent location, a little scruffy in places and the lounge area is a bit to small for the number of people. A bit grey with very good music that was a bit too loud. Bedroom and bathroom were plenty big enough and had lots of storage space. They provided a kettle so we could make ourselves a cup of tea. Excellent swimming pool with super views and when we were there the sun was streaming in. Good heaters in the ski room that got very crowded at times and needed a bit of maintenance on the stairs. Staff were always polite and helpful and the bedrooms were quiet. All good value for money and would happily stay there again.

We stayed here on a family holiday due to our party size we needed two rooms. So they put us on different floors as far apart as possible. On the first night we went down for dinner they had us on separate tables, the booking was in the same name did it not occur to any one that we were together as one party? this was resolved for us immediately The noise coming from other guests in the bedrooms was very loud due to little or no sound proofing. No tea/coffee in the room, and to make this worse not even a kettle! but there was a fridge. Furthermore, you could not buy a cup of coffee in the hotel prior to breakfast starting at 07:30 not much use if you are an early riser. The room itself was a good size, and the beds were comfortable and clean, due to us having two rooms we did have the option of a bath and a shower, however it is one or the other in each room. The shower was really good. On our last day nobody had said anything about breakfast, very important if you are leaving before the restaurant opens. We did find the breakfast bags on the floor in reception. still no hot drinks available. the bag contained two rolls and 1 piece of fruit and 1 bottle of water. we were told that each bag was for two people, if this is considered a 4 star breakfast i would hate to think what a 2 star would be like. The hotel entertainment was OK, Kudos to the receptionist who then sings in the evenings. Not only related to the hotel, but to the area you do not appear to be able to get anything savory and substantial between 2.30pm - 7pm. So on to the good things the food was for the most part really good. Location was excellent-so good in fact that for this reason alone i would stay here again. The hotel is next to the hire shop, the ski school and the slopes. Good boot room. The staff in the bar were all very good, but it was Nico that really stood out for us. Great selection of desserts for the afternoon.

Having stayed here at least 5/6 times before I felt very badly treated during check in. We arrived at 13.30 hrs to be told that our rooms were not ready.( understand normall ready by 15.00) eventually we where given our rooms at 17.15 hrs after I had contacted our rep and lost my patience. Receptionist with a very condescending attitude, lots of other people arrived after us and where immediately handed there rooms. Your restaurant is now a school canteen there were that many school parties. If you didn’t enter the restaurant when it opened there was nothing left on the buffet which was not replenished. Every main course was accompanied by polenta ( I understand this is a special of this area ) but not with everything and every night. A very nice waitress who was helpful but have no desires to ever return to your hotel.

Cibo buono e personale molto disponibile. Da considerarlo nei prossimi anni.

Really friendly at check in, small but functional single room and fabulous location for the slopes. Ski/boot room is adequate if a bit basic. Lovely spa and pool. Breakfast was lovely either way loads of choice. Dinner was good although would have preferred less polenta! Overall a really nice place to stay.

Terrible organisation in the dining room , having to ask for items to be replenished every meal . No cups at breakfast , no milk , food is not replaced once it’s gone . Desert is the worst I have ever had in a hotel . Half a scoop of ice cream given to you on Monday night ,a piece of apple strudel on Tuesday and Tonight’s offering is pictured. A tiny slice of melon ,pineapple and kiwi given to you. No alternatives on offer . The soup tastes like sock water .dinner is at 7.30. The queue to get in start about 7 pm and there is a scrum to get food because once it’s gone there willl not be any more . If you like your food be prepared to eat out every day. The location is brilliant though.

La location è molto bella ma la cena è immangiabile. Tagliatelle scotte e insapori, stinco che doveva essere al forno invece era lessato e insipido, porzioni ridicole ma prezzi esagerati. Peccato veramente non poterci più tornare ......

We stayed at Grand Hotel Miramonti from 21st-28th Dec. A large group of 19 with 10 more in hotel next door. Mixed ages from late 50’s down to 13. The Miramonti is in a great location and virtually ski in ski out. The ski/boot room is a good size and easily accessible. The rooms are basic and some are outdated with some smaller than others but what I’d expect for a skiing holiday. Somewhere to sleep 💤 and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and well stocked with all the usual help yourself stuff. No issues there at all. The dinner was a bit hit and miss although there was always an option of a pizza from the pizzeria out the front which was very good pizza. The bar staff looked after us really well and I can’t compliment them enough. We were there most nights with the gang of 29 and they looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a disco bar under the hotel which stays open late if you want to dance the night away. The wellness centre was a real gem. Steam room/saunas/plunge pool for the legs. It dragged a few of us away from apres ski a few evenings it was that appealing. Overall I’d have no problem recommending the Grand Hotel Miramonti. I’m all about the skiing so easily pleased generally with accommodation. Hope this benefits someone in making a decision.
