Bhrikuti Stay

I have only positive things to say about Bhrikuti Stay! Sanu Dai and his family were so welcoming to me, which especially as a solo traveler helped me feel very at home and safe. He and his family helped me order food, book motorbike taxis, and also welcomed me to join them for multiple meals. They really made me feel like a member of their family. They were super friendly and were keen to answer any questions I had and gave suggestions on where to go and what to eat during my time in Kathmandu. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is also unbeatable, just a few minutes walk from Patan Durbar Square and surrounded by artisan shops. I would 100% recommend Bhrikuti Stay to anyone, but particularly those looking to feel at home in Nepal! Thank you so much to Sanu Dai and his family for a wonderful stay.

The room was big, bathroom couldve been cleaner and they let me check in early which was nice of them. He didnt make a fuss when I checked out a night early. No AC in the room, they told me they couldn’t take card payments when they advertise they can,m. Lastly I asked the owner to help me with a day trip, he confirmed that I could go earlier than previously agreed by text, but then when I was ready to go he backtracked to the original time agreed, go which I wasnt impressed with.

I have travelled by myself from the UK the volunteer long term in Nepal, Bhrikuti stay and it’s owners here have made me feel nothing short of family, they are some of the most amazing and kind people I’ve ever met. Please if you are in patan, come!

The family that owns this hotel is extremely welcoming! They went out of their way to help me by suggesting things to do, helping me download taxi apps, taking me to see the festivities of Holi, going with me to the market to bargain for gifts, and even serving a few meals! Very generous people. The location is excellent if you want to explore Patan Durbar Square.

The hotel had an common kitchen where you can cook on your own and in timely basic the staffs would help us in cooking by introducing there local foods. The room was very spacious and very clean and it provides 2 types of room options. The location is also perfect as it's within durbar square walking distance along with amazing cafes. I would also like to thank bhrikuti stay family for taking care of me and I will definitely come back soon.

If you want to stay in a very calm, clean and modern place that feels like home at the very heart of the beautiful Patan, then Bhrikuti Stay is your perfect choice! Plus, it's at a 2-min walk from Durbar Square. Father and sons will welcome you in the most authentic and warm way, making sure to fulfil all your extra needs and requests. They will also give you local tips and suggestions to live Katmandu at its best. And the price is very worthy! Really, we can't recommend this place more!

A lovely family run hotel in convenient location to almost everywhere. The room is great and the hospitality was beyond amazing. The family is so attentive and be at their best to accommodate any of your requests. Go check out the common kitchen on the roof top for the views and for your daily cup of Chai. Definitely will come back!
