PaxosBlue Suites & Villas

We stayed in Paxos for 5 nights and what a lovely little apar**ent this was. Communication with the owners of the apar**ent was brilliant and they said they would come and pick us up from the port. We waited for 10/15 minutes and no one came so we decided to just walk as it was 5 minutes from the Port. As we were walking the owner Stamatiis was coming up in his car and stopped us, he apologised and we were fine by walking up. We got to the apar**ent around 11am, so wasn’t time for check in but lady cleaning said she was only going to take 5 minutes then we could have the key which was so lovely. We chose the basic apar**ent as we wouldn’t be in the room all day but the apar**ent was so nice and had everything we needed. Kitchen/dining area, bathroom and spacious bedroom with a very big bed. We had a little dining area outside and deckchairs (wear insect repellent when sitting outside as they get you straight away). The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best but still did the job. No shared pool which by the pictures, you would think there was. The pool was only for the private apar**ent. But there is a private beach, with 6 sun-loungers. It is through the red gates opposite the apar**ents and down the hill. We used it a few times and didn’t have too many people sat there with us which was great. The apar**ent is situated up a hill, so for those who are not great walkers beware. Gaios is only 10 minute walk. There’s a beautiful beach 10 minutes from the apar**ent (the opposite way to Gaios) again up and down, so beware. Beach had a beach bar and could rent sun loungers for the day. Stamatiis told us that he can do private tours around island, he rents boats, cars and scooters out too. So definitely ask him if you need anything. We went to Antipaxos for the day, which we got a boat from Gaios opposite the church. It was €20 each return. Took 15 minutes on the boat and there are two stops. First beach they stop at is the best and the food in the beach bar is amazing. Second beach is a bit pebbly. You can walk from one to the other in which we did, took around 20 minutes. We also went to Lakka on the local bus, which was situated 2 minutes up from the church. You can on the bus and it stops at Loggos and Lakka. €3 each single to Lakka. The buses are not regular and the times may change in peak summer so just be aware. There are timetables in Gaios. Loggos when we went past in the bus was very pretty but very small! Lakka is a bit bigger but again very pretty. We had a few hours to mooch and we did find a small castle where we did get lost! We tried different restaurants every night in Gaios and honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever one you choose. We went to Volcano, George’s corner, piazza Massa, Dal Pescatore and Fanalino. Amazing food in each one. At our apar**ent we had our sheets/towels and apar**ent cleaned every 2 days which was great. Stayed in Paxosblue for one night, and honestly wish we could stay forever (or at least a few more days..) Konstantina and Stamatis the owners are incredible hosts, picked us up from the port and were so nice. The villa was squeaky clean and fully packed with all the essentials to make dinner (although we went for dinner in the city center), and had wifi and a smart TV. Had a private little rocky beach with a ladder down to the clear blue water and sunbeds which was the highlight of our stay, And the walk from the villa to the center of Gaios was around 15 minutes. If I could give it 10/5 I would’ve!!

We spent two Glorious weeks here at the suite with private pool. It was everything we could have asked for and more. The living area is as it says a suite, with a very comfortable bed, large fridge and a small stove. Shower and toilet. And then there is the outside space, beautiful view, Inviting pool, sun loungers, comfy chairs to relax in the evening, when you stroll home from dinner in Gaios, shaded area to have breakfast and lunch. We swam in the sea AM as it can get a little choppy in the afternoon. If you are looking go get away from it all, to relax and unwind this is the perfect place.

We stayed in the suite with the private pool for 2 and a half weeks in June. From my first correspondence with Konstantina the service she has provided has been exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for her and all emails were responded to very quickly. I have been coming to Paxos for over 30 years and I have to say this is the favourite place we have stayed. The suite was just what we needed and was exceptionally clean upon arrival. The pool and gardens were exactly as in the pictures. The breakfast hamper every morning was plentiful and as a coeliac there was plenty of choice for me. Konstantina even added gluten free bread for me. I was overwhelmed at her thoughtfulness. Konstantina is a very genuine, generous and friendly lady and I enjoyed my chats with her during our stay. This has been our first visit here but definitely not our last.

PaxosBlue was just lovely. Spacious rooms, everything you need in a kitchen. nice little dining area outside and sun loungers. Photos just do not do this property justice, we only went for the basic apar**ent as it’s all we needed for our trip. The bed was very comfortable and very big. Air con in kitchen and in bedroom. Stamatiis the host was just lovely, he asked if we wanted to do anything or hire anything to go to him. We didn’t have an itinerary so we didn’t want to bother him. The apar**ent is cleaned, fresh new towels and sheets every 2 days which is brilliant. It is only a 10 minute walk to Gaios, but the apar**ent is on a bit of a hill so just a heads up. We didn’t mind that as we like to get our steps in. Only downfall is that there is no pool, unless you book the apar**ent with the private pool. But there is a small private beach literally opposite through red gates, it’s down a steep hill, so again heads up. Only 6 sun loungers on there beach but most of the time we were there by ourselves. All in all, lovely place with amazing views. We were very happy.

The owners were so helpful! They picked us up at the ferry, and had a motorbike rental available for us from their hotel so we could easily explore the island. The unit was very large and clean, and had great wifi and air conditioning. Only 5-10 minute walk into Gaios for meals, shopping, and ferries. Would stay there again for sure?

We had a wonderful quite stay in this beautiful apar**ent. The owner has made this a very personal quaint place to stay. She was exceptionally helpful to our needs, advise on taxis and places to go. The walk to the restaurants and shops was only 10 minutes and gave us a chance to look at all the boats and take in the beautiful surroundings.
