Torri E Merli Hotel by Ghh

"We booked at Torri E Merli for a week. The ***********, trip advisor and Torri E Merli website all boast what a wonderful five star place this is. It’s a fabulous building in a convenient location but the rooms are tired, our bath had peeling paint and the shower was held up with wire. There was a minibar containing a single bottle of wine and a pack of Gouda cheese! There is no bar, no evening restaurant, no complimentary afternoon tea and no buffet breakfast. You are asked to preorder breakfast which is served by George who was the saving grace of our holiday. We complained but were told that they are short staffed and it’s not their fault. It’s basically an expensive glorified bed and breakfast. Better options are available on the island. On our last night I sat on the chair outside our room and a rat ran out under my feet. I reported it yo the staff. We won’t be going back."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Agali Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The location is perfect for exploring Paxos. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"We spent 3 nights in Villa Paxos. The apartments are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and centrally located in Gaios. We booked directly with the owners who were very helpful - we were keen for a sea view apartment which wasn’t available on the first night but we were able to move to that on our second day. It was worth it for the amazing views. There was a supply of provisions when we arrived - water, wine, coffee, fruit, jam butter etc. There is a small supermarket in Gaios, bakeries and plenty of seafront bars and restaurants. We had a superb 3 days in Paxos and Villa Paxos was the perfect base. Thank you to Maria and George - we hope to return one day."
